I bought this item almost two years ago but when I received it I had a lot of other things to do so I didn't open the box and time went by but today when I decided to put it together it was my disappointment because the top part is damaged and it's been so long since I ordered it so I can't return it. Besides, the manual explains in some steps which screws to use in others not and you have to guess, the parts are not marked either, they have no number or letter so it was quite a challenge to assemble it and lastly it is very fragile. The lesson in all of this is to always check things when you receive them so that you don't get a surprise later and not be able to do anything about it. ... show more

I want to start by saying this dresser is perfect for any budget friendly individual that needs a dresser in their home. It has a nice length, not very tall, and 6 drawers with is perfect. Assembly time was not bad (overall about 3.5 hrs with 1 person, split over 2 days… having a drill really helps!). On to the cons and imperfections… The hardware included everything you need for assembly, however, I found that the plastic and wooden dowels were inconsistent with sizing. One would fit perfectly while the other would stick out longer than the other. When putting the drawers together, I noticed the slot for the bottom of the dresser was not cut right to fit appropriately (as pictured) this caused a problem when trying to screw the back piece of the dresser on. Because the slots were misaligned, it caused the back to screw in at an angle. Several of the drawer slides were bent and prevents you from closing the drawers all the way. If you close the drawer slightly, it gets stuck. If you add a little more force, it will close fine however you will be slamming your dresser and possibly causing other issues. Lastly, there were imperfections on the outside of the dresser such as chipped edges that were painted over and scratched on the drawers. Once again, the dresser is decent for the price you pay. If you are looking for more of a long term piece of furniture, I’d recommend to look elsewhere. ... show more

Bought this dresser as a back up and wasn’t looking for anything fancy. I was very pleasantly surprised! It is a beautiful color and very good quality for the price point. The drawers are not soft close but that is expected. It is the perfect size for a smaller kids closet or area. I would purchase again. Assembly was fairly easy when following directions. Although the dresser is aesthetically pleasing and very well made, there is one unexplainable peculiarity. The fibre-board upper-half of the back can't be aesthetically [or functionally] tacked on It won't work! I just finished modifying the closing of the upper-back, gluing on a lip around the full margin -- on a single plane. One can then glue on an inset peg-board upper-half: peg-board is cheap and easily cut with a fine hand-saw. I'm bewildered in trying to figure out what the manufacturer thought that the "designer" was doing! ... show more

I like this dresser because it’s gender neutral and I can use it for more than one kid. The white color will match with every nursery theme. This was very easy for my husband who hates to build to put together. Only a few choice words were used when building lol. It took my husband a couple hours to put together which is outstanding for him. Some parts of this was a 2 person job when it came to putting in the screws, alignment of the holes, and holding it up. They provide you with enough screws and some extras to get the job done. It is a very sturdy dresser and will hold up great over time. It is long and wide enough to fit a changing table mat on top of for diaper changes and still has enough room for a lamp and a little diaper wipe station. It is not to big and not to small the perfect size for any nursery. The dresser has enough room to fit all your newborns sized clothes. There are 6 separate very spacious drawers. I have a drawer for 0-3 months, 3-6, 6-9, 9-12,12-18, and 18-24. This dresser holds up to the test and the performance is a 10/10. Great value for the price. ... show more

I am writing this so others can know what I wish I knew before buying this. The negatives: The dresser took over 2 hours to put together with myself and my partner, not 45 minutes as it states. We were missing a screw, so I included the picture of what extra screw you’d need if you’re missing the same one. We were missing a screw for the knob, it is 1 inch in length and the diameter of the head of the screw is a half inch. You could probably get a replacement from your local Lowe’s, we just haven’t had the chance to yet which is why there’s a knob missing in my picture. The appearance is okay, as the dresser does show finger smudges very, very easily. Even with it being black which is what I was hoping it would hide. The positives: The depth of the drawers is nice and everything fits nicely. The dresser measurements are accurate. It was pretty easy to move and wasn’t too heavy once we got it built. The holes and screws all fit into each other nice. The performance of the dresser is pretty decent, no scratch marks yet and we’ve had it for three weeks. For the money it’s a decent dresser, but frustrating to miss a screw and some of the appearance issues. Hope this helps! ... show more
