I love this product 100x more than the factory wireless charger that came installed. One of the plastic side pieces had broken on my original which caused me to start looking for a replacement. I took a chance on this product even though I thought it was a bit over priced and am so glad I did. It fits perfectly! Looks better than the factory one. Designed perfectly to lock in place on a model s. Cord routes perfectly under the rubber pad, and you can still open and close the door.

    • I almost returned it
For $120, I had higher expectations. This replaced the OEM model X wireless charger I had because my thicker phone made it difficult to put in and out of the slot. I mulled for two days whether it was worth it and eventually told myself it was. The good: when you don't use the tesla USB and use your own in the cigarette port, it works pretty well. The magnet is strong and makes charging airpods much easier. Also very easy to install. The bad: two things. First, it is not powerful enough when using tesla's USB ports. I drove for 30 minutes and it only gained 1%, but when I used my own USB port via cigaratte, it charged 3% in 10 minutes. Second is it made of some felt material which will eventually stain. They should have made it straight up plastic instead. ... show more

Perfect wireless solution that looks OEM, holds my iphone in place and aligns automatically with magsafe. A little expensive, but by far the best solution I could find for my 2018 Model S.
