This works perfectly to keep our adjustable mattresses from sliding apart from one another, yet still allowing us to adjust the heads and foot of the individual beds. We use it and a bed gap filler to use our adjustable bed like a regular bed , but no falling into a gap between them any more! I was able to put it on myself and I am not the strongest person. I can’t really say I liked or dislike the product because it was not the right product that we needed. Everything came as advertised. Shipping time was good. Response was great. But it does not work for purple mattresses. If you’re buying it for that, don’t. I can see how it would work well for a conventional mattress for the sturdy rigid sidewall. ... show more

    • OUR HARANGUE
We installed this item in October and removed it in December, - way too late to return it. If you have adjustable beds as described below, this is not what you need. 1. A Calif. king size bed is two twin mattresses juxtapositioned . 2. Adjustable beds have to have twin-size sheets because a bottom king-size sheet would not allow use of adjustable bed features. 3. The top sheet is king-size, which allows intimacy, BUT there's this uncomfortable gap between the mattresses. Years ago we used our son's twin beds to make a stationary Calif. king-size and used a foam filler in the bed brad crack and covered it with a K-size bottom and top sheet. You can't do that with adjustable beds because when you raise the foot or the head, the filler falls out of place, 4. The bed bridge we installed was very rigid - defeating the comfort of the gel mattresses. Sleeping on the bare bed bridge was most uncomfortable. We folded another K-size flat sheet to cover across the width of the bed 5. The tight band around the sides did not get rid of the bed gap, and we couldn't make the crack a little less annoying with a K-size bottom sheet because of the adjustable features. If anyone can patent a solution to this dilemma, you could perhaps get rich. Feedback is welcome . We would also be happyto accept a refund, gift card, etc from Amazun. LOL ... show more

    • Easily Does the Trick!

We have been looking for a product that would solve the issue of our XL split king mattresses separating constantly, leaving a huge gap between us and making it impossible to snuggle. This product absolutely solved that issue. After a week, I've had to tighten the straps slightly only once, and it has kept our mattresses together perfectly. The width of the bridge is also ideal for our inMotion adjustable beds. As far as other reviews suggesting the straps are cheap or the material too thin, I haven't found that to be the case at all. As with any product, take care of it, and it will take care of you. Once installed, simply place your fitted sheet over the mattresses or use a soft blanket instead which also reinforces the bridge.     • The plastic broke within a couple months use
Purchased it and it worked for a couple months or so. The plastic buckle is of very low quality and broke. Gonna try a different product instead of buying this again.
