I purchased this because I have a multi cat household and I foster kittens. So there are ocassional accidents or behavioral issues on my bed. The water resistance has not been tested yet. But the mattress pad fits my queeen size matters perfectly.

Nice quality fabric unlike some i have gotten. I like that it smoothes out my bed and sheets seem to stay on better.
