Most of the negative reviews here complain about solar charging capability. C'mon folks, if you read the description, it says, "The product has a solar charging function, but due to the huge battery capacity and the limited charging power of the solar panel, the actual solar charging speed is very slow, and it is only used as an additional emergency function in emergency situations. In normal times, it is recommended to use a charger above 5V2A to charge the product." And, that's exactly what I've found: It will charge via solar, but if you need to go from empty to full, it might take several days (or even a week) in direct sunlight. Mainly, this is an excellent battery pack, with great capacity at a great price. For me, the solar function is a nice-to-have option, but it shouldn't be your only reason for buying this very rugged, very capable battery pack. ... show more

The charger is solidly built and seems like it would take being dropped a few times. It charges pretty quickly from an electric outlet, but it takes longer charging it in the sun. It might very well take two or three days to charge it that way. I bought it to charge an e-cigarette and a cellphone. It charges the e-cigarette over and over and barely touches the battery life. As far as a cellphone goes, it's more of an emergency charger. From a full battery you could charge a dead cell phone to about two thirds of a full charge. So if used sparingly for a cellphone, it could work. For my uses, it is adequate. The built-in flashlight is good and bright and easy to use, but seems to drain the battery a bit. Overall, I'm happy with my purchase. And I most definitely will be taking it on any future outdoor excursions. For a backpacker, this thing could really come in handy ... show more

I picked up this box for the solar panel in hopes it would work when my charged boxes died however I have had it in the direct sun for 3 days in a row and it won't charge even a little bit. The size and weight of the box is fantastic but, the solar panel is not good at all. The box when fully charged via a wall outlet charges quickly but, then also dies equally as fast. When the box is fully charged I can only get my phone charged to about 15 percent before the box is dead, that's pretty bad. I have other boxes that will charge my phone to atleast 50 percent before they are drained. You also can not charge more than one thing at a time despite the dual charging ports. This box is extremely disappointing and I do not recommend it at all. ... show more

It works better as a USB splitter, and would be sufficient in an emergency situation if you needed to get enough power to make a few calls. It won’t actually charge my previous iPhone 11 Pro, and current iPhone 15 Pro, to full batter capacity, but will give me a little bit longer time on my phone if my battery is low. The solar charger I don’t think actually works, or at least I have never seen it make a difference, you’d probably have to leave it out in the sun for three weeks. It charges slower than molasses in winter time. The flashlight works great, but don’t take it camping unless you’re blind, cuz it’ll be dark real fast. ... show more
