I got this car battery starter because one day my mom’s car battery died down by the docks. I came to jump her car with jumper cables. The jumper cables were NOT doing the job..we were waiting and waiting and nothing was happening. This man Paul happened to be at the docks and came over to us with this Povasee battery starter..He hooked it up to the car battery and told us to start the car. It worked IMMEDIATELY..we were shocked it worked within seconds. I went right on Amazon to look for it and it happened to be on sale. I bought two (one for me and one as a bday present for mom) and received both the very same day! Short version - Highly recommend, works as promised, easy to use, and at a fantastic price compared to lower power models in the auto parts stores around me! This jumper box has been a lifesaver! I got this after I found that my SUV was having a parasitic battery drain, resulting in a totally dead battery a few times. I got stuck at work for a bit because my battery had died and no one had a jumper box. After that incident, I decided to just get my own so I wouldn't be stranded again. I took a chance with this brand (it was more powerful and cheaper than the ones offered in the local auto parts stores) and am so glad that I did! It is a small, compact size and comes in a nice travel case that stores all of the part easily. I followed the instructions for charging and use, and it has been SO easy. I've gotten 4 cold starts so far on the initial charge with no hesitation or issues. The user manual says it can handle up to 50 starts I think on one charge! And its basically fool proof! I'm always afraid of doing something wrong when using the car to car jumper cables. With this, you don't need a second car or bulky cables, and its designed so that you can't plug things in wrong. I have since gotten the battery drain issue fixed by the dealer (I hope) but I will never leave home without this in my car! I'm even considering getting a second one for our other car and possibly one as a gift for my parents for when they go on road trips. This also has a powerful light on it, and you could charge your cell phone if needed. This is a must have! ... show more

I thought I would express my feelings in regards to this little starter. I have a vehicle that very rarely gets driven. I usually start the car at least once a week and run it for a while to keep the battery charged. I went on vacation for a couple of weeks. You guessed it when I got back. Click, click, click..... . I don't have cables handy. Searched for a starter expecting to pay a ton of money. I found this one with many skeptical thoughts. Purchased it next day it arrived charged it up and vroom. I purchased this item for use as a jumper and in emergencies. The product does come with a great storage bag for the product to be placed in whenever you don't need it. The size of the product is perfect for grab-and-go. You get a fully charged battery upon turning it on. The noise of it is not bad. The speed time to set back up does take a few hours to charge.
