I probably should give these a 5-star rating, but I'm posting with four for now, until I use these some more. Out of the box, they made short work of the first three chickens that I spatchcocked with them. They seem to have a unique hidden hinge mechanism within the bolted scissor joint. Not sure how long it will last, but it is working fairly well so far. The blades can be disassembled, so one of these days when I really want to deep clean them, I'll find out how that spring works. ... show more
