  • It does what it says! Solid and reliable.
Size: 750W
We have used this Power Inverter for several of our vacations over the last 2 years. We take road trips in our van, so if we want to power 120 volt appliances, this is a must have! Typically, we run a fridge/freezer unit with it when we are on the road. I have also used it around the home to power a circular saw, a Sawzall, and an angle grinder, for those times that I didn't want to stretch several extension cords out to reach an area I needed to work in. No issues at all with this unit. It has never tripped the fuse/breaker, never got hot. I appreciate the digital readout that they included on this model. That is a great feature to have on a power inverter. ... show more

  • Does what it is supposed to
Size: 750W
Unit worked well but the fan is rather loud when it kicks on. I used this with two (2) 60 watt trouble lights to draw down a LiFePO4 battery (on the bench for calibration purposes). It was only using 153 watts (~12.5 amps according to the battery bluetooth app) and the fan ran constantly. It was loud enough that I didn't have to be in the garage all the time it was working. I do like that it has alligator clips AND a 12VDC connection cables. ... show more

  • Seemed like a good unit
Size: 750W
Got the 750 inverter in early March. It just started heating up the red cable that connects with the car battery to the point of melting. Tried contacting them by phone. Message said not available try later. Sent e mail and received a g mail response of didn't go through as address is not valid. Good luck, seems like you're on your own. Buyer be where. ... show more

  • Worked well for about 4 days.
Size: 750W
I ran it off a battery for about 4 days keeping my deep freeze cool in the back of a moving van and it did great. The low voltage alarm is obnoxiously loud, but that was good in my case so I could hear it from outside the truck. On the fifth day when I went to leave town, I got about 2 miles along an 850 mile journey and it started beeping hi dc input and shut off the 120v power. I switched it off until I pulled over for fuel. While I was at the station I tried to turn it back on but it only displays SC (Short circuit on ac output circuit according to the manual). I tried it again with nothing plugged in and got the same message. I opened it up and checked the fuses, which were not blown, and the wiring to the ac outlets, which was not shorted. I later discovered a faulty voltage regulator on the truck was indeed sending about 17 volts to it, which is probably what killed it. So half stars, since it says it has hi voltage protection, and it obviously does not, not effective anyway, but when it was working, I liked the fan cooling, and the LCD display to monitor the output wattage so I could see from the cab if the freezer was working normally. I replaced it with a much more expensive pure sine wave model from a hazard fraught brick and mortar store, which also went into hi voltage protection mode on the highway, but was still functional afterwards so I could run it while I was parked. ... show more

  • Great for outdoors, emergencies or work sites.
Size: 750W
Got this just to use if the power went out at my house, but took it to work one day for the heck of it and a job came up. Thought I would take it along with my truck to use the battery. Hooked up the terminals and plugged in an angle grinder to it and worked like a charm, especially for a total of 3 hours. Had some doubts if it would actually pump out the power that was advertised, and met my expectation. Just ordered another one because my Chief Mechanic was impressed with it and wanted one. Actually, I might get another one myself for home use and emergencies. Highly recommended for anyone to purchase, either for bad weather, crisis/emergency, outdoors or even for work site areas. Good size, displays remaining voltage and usage, pretty solid. I haven't had any issues at all with it, good price at $45 for 750W, price might be lower or higher now. ... show more
