This review is for anyone who has never used any kind of nailer like this. Because that was me. When I was searching and researching Brad Nailers I kinda knew what I was looking for but not really. I knew I wanted it to be cordless. I didn't wanna have to buy anything separate to make the thing work. I wanted something that wasn't complicated to use and safe. But I wanted it to be powerful for what I need it for. This nailer is amazing and far exceeded my expectations. It did jam a couple of times but that's to be expected. But getting the jammed nails out is super easy. Battery life is awesome. When you hold this thing it feels like it's worth what your paying for it. I highly recommend buying this. Loading the brads is really easy. And for all you ladies out there who might be a little nervous, don't be. I was a little intimidated at first but this thing has so many safety features you will be fine. Super easy to use. You can adjust how far you want your nails to go in. It has good weight to it. I just love this thing. Buy it..you won't regret it. To the men out there. Yes..it's tough. Does exactly what it claims to do. Goes through thick wood like butter. This is an awesome tool! Expectations: you won’t rapid fire. It takes a little less than a second for each shot as it ramps up. This did not really slow me but it will set the pace and rhythm of work. I thought the second delay would be annoying, but the sounds provide a good rhythm to follow and the slight delay didn’t feel invasive or annoying for me. I usually can’t stand lag and this was my biggest concern. No hose is amazing! Dewalt is the tool that I’ve been eyeing because I’m locked in their eco system. This tool is half price, and I found a battery adapter that worked! This tool was reviewed as not marring the surface, and that’s accurate. I used the 1.25” nail and it was a perfect depth. It has weight but I didn’t find that to be an obstacle. I can see someone getting tired, but a hose has its own drawbacks. I purchased the battery due to prime day making this slightly less than no battery and a back-up in case the adapter didn’t work. So, based on my experience doing molding in my living room, I highly recommend. ... show more

Have to say I'm loving this cordless nailer! I started running a Paslode Impulse cordless finish nailer about 10 years ago as a cabinet installer, and it sure was nice to ditch the compressor and hoses! The Paslode Impulse was a pretty good tool, but, the gas cartridges were expensive and not everyone carried them. Plus, it seemed like every 2 months or so I'd have to tear down the Paslode for a thorough cleaning--and even with that I seemed to get a fair amount of misfires. Still, it was soooooo nice not to have to lug a compressor around! I've been out of the biz for awhile and I sold my Impulse nailer a few years back. We recently picked up a 4-plex rental and I wanted to remodel the units and needed a good finish nailer. I looked at the cordless finish nailers from Dewalt, Senco, and Ryobi, and eventually settled on the Porter Cable when it went on sale for one sixty--less than half what they want for the Dewalt! I was impressed with the nailer as soon as I opened it--nice size and weight and it looks and feels solid and well-built. The ergonomics are great--everything you need to adjust is easy to access and the LED lights are great! I've completely trimmed out 2 units so far (base, door casing, crown molding, and some chair rail) and I haven't even had to recharge the battery! Not a single misfire yet, and the nail depth is easily adjustable and consistent. This nailer takes a little getting used to as there is about a 1 second delay from when you pull the trigger to when the nail is driven, but, so far it has been great and I would highly recommend this cordless nailer! I'm so happy with it, that I'm going to buy the matching narrow crown stapler. The only negative comment would be that it doesn't come with a case, but for what I paid I'm astonished at what a great value this tool is. Of course time will tell how well it holds up and performs, but so far I am VERY happy with this tool! ... show more

I’ve owned mine for a few years now and I use it for probably 100% of the time on my build projects. Never had any issues. Batteries have long life but I have extras so I can quickly switch over when one dies. Highly recommended!!

I have used this nail gun for almost a year to tack casing and even fence pickets. It is very reliable and easy to operate. It also is not too heavy. Batter life is good and charges quickly. I would buy again.
