  • It works amazingly excellent. It's small enough to fit in my bathroom ...
I got this little machine last week. It works amazingly excellent . It's small enough to fit in my bathroom closet which is great . I actually put it in my bath tub when I use it . I fill it with my shower wand since the hosing attachments are really worthless and connect to no faucet known to man , and the drain hose is only about ten inches long . I fill it, and can throw a goodly amount of clothes in it . Three pairs of thick leggings, a couple of long shirts , 2 t-shirts and some under clothing . You can set the timer to several wash settings , 3 to 15 minutes. It's quiet. Flip the switch to drain , and it empties quickly. Then I refill it to rinse with fabric softener . What I love the most is the spinner . After rinsing I toss the clothing in it ( the whole load won't fit FYI, so I split it into two batches ) and the centrifuge is excellent . In 2 or 3 minutes they are nearly dry. I just hang dry them. I know some prefer to just throw sudsy clothes in the spinner and rinse by spraying water with a shower attachment as they spin, but I like to use fabric softener . I just keep the machine at toward the top of my bath tub so gravity and the downward pitch of the tub facilitate the hose draining and prevent the unit from getting wet itself . Keep in mind going from wash to drain is a manual adjustment , it won't just automatically drain when the washing time is up. It might seem a little inconvenience to get up and switch the knobs from wash to drain and tossing the wet clothes in the great spinner, but it isn't . I mean once my rinse is done and I switch to drain , I can toss the wet garments into the spinner no matter how wet they are... you don't have to wait for all the water to drain out of the washer side . That spinner really really gets the water out of the clothes . The spinner can make a knocking thumping sound when the clothes aren't balanced but just lift the lid adjust the clothes and press them down a bit and restart the spinner . It's actually whisper quiet when it spins . They are nearly dry when done spinning , 2-3 minutes is enough ! I think this is such a convenience if you don't have a regular washer . You don't even need a dryer if you don't mind air hanging your clothes , and they will be dry in just a couple of hours. I highly recommend this little but very effective washer . It cleans clothes beautifully. , ... show more

  • Gets clothes cleaner then a fully automatic washer.
I know this review is late, but I wanted time to test it fully. I have a household of 7. Laundry is never ending! This machine works fabulously!! The motor is powerful and the spinner gets them so close to dry that I can hang them on my drying rack for about 30 minutes and they are done. I have been using this in place of a full size washer so that I could do laundry on my main floor. One of the hoses was useless but the other fit perfectly on my kitchen sink. The glue on the hose didnt stand up well, but it was an easy fix. We went from no washing machine to this, do at least 1-2 loads per day and my water bill hasnt even gone up. I love the fact that I can use the rinse water as the wash water for the next load. The agitation is great and its gotten out dirt that regular washers didnt. I would of liked to see a lint filter, but thats another easy fix thanks to youtube. Because this isnt fully automatic, it does take a little bit more work then an automatic, but the wash cycles go faster to. I have washed jeans (1 pair at a time), queen size sheets, it can do about 4 t shirts at a time. All I have to do is wash in batches. Wring them out, put fresh water, rinse and wring them out before hanging them up. Or I can just plug the rinse hose into the spinner side, let it run for 2 minutes before shutting the water off, and it also rinses then quite well. Love my purchase, I have no intention of buying a fulk size washer. Between this and ny drying racks, Im saving a ton of money and the clothes look newer longer! ... show more

  • Compact. Needs to be elevated to drain well. Great for small spaces.
I works and does it's job while taking up a small space. I have a skin problem with soaps and certain bleaches so I was unable to use the on-site washing facilities. This allowed me to keep my clothes clean while avoiding allergic reactions. I would have preferred a separate spin dry and wash unit, but didn't have the space so this worked well enough. I had to elevate it (used a storage tote upside down) to get it to drain well. I was originally using 5 gallon buckets to move water, but it was hard on me due to muscle problems. It spun out water really well and dried faster than expected after hanging. A little tricky to get it balanced sometimes, but got the hang of it after a few loads. Usually took two spins to get all the clothes from the wash. Recommend keeping it near the drain area and filling it with a mobile shower head if you are unable to get it plumbed. Mine drained on the left side so I just emptied it into a 5 gallon tote a short distance away from the tub where I dumped it. Because this doesn't have a blower drier or lint trap, it leaves a lot of lint that can start to build up on clothes. It looks odd because it knits together like paper. But for a cheap and simple way to do my laundry I was quite happy. It brushed off fairly easily with a rubber dog-hair remover (once fully dry). I used soapnuts soaked in hot water and it seemed to clean well. I did not try it on heavily soiled clothing. Very happy with it as it met all my needs. ... show more
