I like it for a little extra security when you don't want to jiggle in a skirt or dress and for slimming the stomach but I have to remove a star because it is impossible to piss on your onesie when you go to the bathroom. The gusset for bathroom use just isn't ergonomic. Be prepared to not drink anything before or during your use of this apparel OR be prepared to piss and dribble on your suit if you do use the bathroom. The only thing I would recommend in conjunction with this is the Venus to Mars Female Urinal Device which has a learning curve but once you get it down to use with your anatomy, it's a really handy device. Anyway, you've been warned, I couldn't wait to get out of this thing after wearing it for 6 hours. This smells nasty, like rubber. It's so flimsy that it could probably fit a horse (size small). The bottom of the leg part is "cut" with nothing whatsoever to keep it from riding up (I didn't wear it). I have one from a few years back, and it's completely different, more substantial material (not open bust, but I wear it that way by adjusting straps and leaving top part under bra). For the last 10+ years I have stayed away from spanx products as I remember them being bulky and tight, reminding me of a binding feeling corset like in the old movies. I discontinued use since I was told it was unhealthy to have that going on all day. This product is comfortably thin and does not have discomfort. I don't feel my inner organs are getting squished like they used to with older spanx products. Mindful of the previous reviews indicating the fabric tore easily, I was careful to put it on, which seemed wise, and worked fine. If you do that, you won't tear it. And If you are anywhere near the "edge" of the size chart, then definitely size UP to a larger size. You can't squeeze into these things successfully if they are too tight, but they will comfortably smooth out the waist, hips, and bottom bra line area, which is the whole idea of this product. They do make a worthwhile difference. Would have preferred slightly more cost effective, so I only got one each of beige and black. Will likely hand soak and rinse after wearing in order to preserve the newness and protect the fabric in the wash, or put them in a mesh laundry bag and only use delicate cycle. ... show more

Is this product a true shaper? The answer is NO. I doesn’t have a lot of support. However, if you are looking to mainly make your body lines smoother while wearing tight dress, then this product is your friend. I like that it feels light, and not many seams only on the back which most of the time comes at the zipper line of the dress. I also like that shorts aren’t finished with any type of hamming, so it doesn’t show. However, what works for me may not work for all, as it doesn’t have a lot of support, nor does it have a tape at the bottom to keep it in place. So if they don’t fit they may roll up. Finally, I like that it works well with my bra. I’ve tried this product with various tight dresses and for me it seems to do the trick, it removed panty lines and smooths some of the lines that I usually feel self conscious about.
