    • GET A WONDER-WASH
This was going to be my savior for undies, sox, hankies, and little things. BUT, it churns the devil right out of undies waistbands, stretching them out, and churns them into knots to untangle, just like the crummy washers with all these stupid "spin style" things (in other words, NO AGITATOR). AND don't even get me started on the "spin" thing .... you may as well, just let them drip dry. NO spin movement in this thing is going to remove more than a TABLESPOON of water and that's just from draining basically. UH, in other words, don't bother. You're better off just hand washing in the sink, rinsing, and "rolling them in a towel" for your "spin dry" cycle. At least the towel will absorb A LOT of the water!! This "washing machine" is Adorable, BUT beyond that, it's worthless in my humble opinion. Take it or leave it. I DID. I read the reviews, good and BAD, and STILL took a shot at it. Worked a lot better than we thought it would! This even washed my husband’s shirts! It spins wonderfully! It’s not super noisy or anything! It is a lot bigger than I thought it would be. We love it! The only thing I struggled with was keeping the basket on its spot but we didn’t know until after using it a few times you are only supposed to use the basket for drying not when there is a full load of water! ... show more

    • poor design
in theory this is a good idea for small loads. i’m disabled and the treck to my apartment building’s laundry room is very difficult so i was hoping this would help me. the machine itself does a pretty good job at washing and spin drying but the issue is that the electrical wiring is fairly exposed at the bottom which is not great for a machine that uses water… i got it wet trying to load the machine and it wouldn’t start so i returned it and got a new one, this time being extra careful, i got through one load before it stopped working again as some water got on the surface i had it on and into the wiring again. feels like a tray or something could have easily covered the wires… would’ve been really great if it was just made a bit better ... show more

    • Decent, but requires tricks
The instructions are basically non-existent, but it's not too difficult to figure out. Make sure to hook the draining tube on the bottom to the side before putting water in it. I didn't bother using the top tube to put water in and opted to use an empty jug and just pour straight into the basin. Washing is pretty easy. I put the clothes and water in and a little bit of detergent, set it to 10 minutes, and let it do it's thing. Since I bought this for period underwear, I do a rinse first (just water, no detergent), then a wash (with detergent) for 5 or 10 minutes, let it soak, then wash again. Then I drain it, add fresh water, run it for 5 minutes, repeat 2-3 times until I'm convinced it's rinsed enough. The tricky part is the "spin" cycle. The basket works great when it's going one direction, but it switches from one direction to the other, so the basket doesn't stay in place. It's possible that it works if you do it on the 1 minute cycle, but I didn't try that one. I just made sure to squeeze items out really well, then stuck them in a laundry bag (the kind with a zipper) and let it run for 5 minutes while the drain tube was actively draining. They definitely didn't get as wrung out as if they'd been in my big washer, but it does the trick well enough. ... show more

The tube for water doesn't really work but you can pour water directly in. Has done the job for my delicates.
