It went together pretty quick maybe twenty minutes first time. Takes about ten minutes to get steam. It works. No idea how long it will last. But should last long enough to get your money's worth. EDIT: Some time has passed. I use this thing daily, sometimes twice daily. It truly works wonders relaxing my body and brain. Bit like a very long hot shower using only a half gallon water and I dont turn into a prune like a long hot bath. Yes found the default P15 for 45minutes is best for me. I am old man and chair sets low so getting in and out of it bit awkward since I cant grab onto the tent frame to steady me. I dedicated an old bath towel to wiping it down after use. This is important so you dont get mold, etc. Now I do enjoy it enough can see the "tent" having a limited lifespan. When it becomes unserviceable, will probably build a more sturdy long lasting waterproof cabinet. But hey the tent is fine if say you live in an apartment and move often. I also notice the price has risen significantly. I suspect along with making a cabinet, I could make my own steam pot, basically an old pressure cooker on a hotplate with a plug in timer as steam generator. Replace the jiggler with fitting for the hose. There were even some old electric resistance "dumb" pressure cookers, basically built in hotplate. Though those probably rare anymore. I doubt the electronic ones would be adaptable. Maybe an old slow cooker if you can figure how to seal the lid. Just saying its pretty simple system and I love it but ... but you could possibly have a more durable homemade version for less money if you are handy and resourceful finding materials. Just not as portable. But yea I want something like this the rest of my life. ... show more

I've wanted to do sauna for quite a while. My main difficulty is that I don't like to be around people and the gyms are full of them. I want the sauna to be relaxing and that could never happen with people around. Some may think I'm being ridiculous, sometimes I do too, but that's just the way it is. Enter the Qiomala Portable Sauna Box. A sauna for me, just me, with no one around. I can put it together myself and it will be ready for my sauna in less than half an hour. The steam is adjustable and when it's on high it really puts out a good amount of steam. It's so peaceful and I feel so relaxed afterward. I set it up in the bathroom so I that I can take a shower afterward. I'll usually do it at night so I'll be relaxed for bed. It helps me sleep better. I've also used it once when I had a cold, on low steam, to help loosen congestion. It's the same idea as a humidifier, just bigger. I'm glad it's on hand for that too. I think it's worth every penny. I had my doubts about this portable wet sauna working very well. I’m pleasantly surprised out how well it actually works. It’s easy to assemble. Can go pretty much anywhere in your house, garage, patio etc. You do have to get it started on the highest setting to get it going. After that you can turn it down if needed. The chair that comes with it could be a bit larger. It’s like a little kids chair. We switched it out with larger one. But other than that it is totally worth getting. ... show more
