While some reviewers mention issues with scratchy surfaces and the hot tub's heating efficiency on a standard 110V setup, the consensus is one of satisfaction, particularly noting the improvement in sleep and relaxation. Despite a few manageable drawbacks, users appreciate the hot tub's luxury feel at a competitive price point.

Pros

  • 🛁 Quick and easy setup, with some reporting readiness for use in less than 24 hours
  • 👥 Sizable capacity, comfortably accommodating 4-7 people
  • 💧 Strong jet performance with minimal temperature drop over time
  • ✔ Quality cover included, providing effective insulation and protection
  • 🌡 Effective heating and maintenance, particularly with an option to upgrade power source for improved efficiency

Cons

It's an ideal choice particularly for first-time hot tub owners ready to manage simple maintenance for a delightful soaking experience.

  • Works like a top after a year
Color: Gray Granite
It’s been great. It’s a bit on small side but still fits 4 comfortably. We leave it on and it hasn’t had any problems. Took 4 of us to roll it in the back yard when it was delivered and we just set it on the spot in the lawn we flattened. Just plugged it in. No problems at all. It’s on the 120 V so it takes a little while to get up to temperature. Maybe a day? And when you take the top off when it’s cold outside in winter, it loses about a degree.Every 30min to and hour. That hasn’t been a problem. The lid keeps the heat in other times till you’re ready for it. ... show more

  • Overall Very Pleased!
Color: Gray Granite
We've had our Shoreline Lounger 24 jet hot tub now for a month. We use it nearly every day and really love it. If I could, I'd give it a 4.5 - but I gave it 4 out of 5 for only a couple of reasons: 1) the acrylic shell is really scratchy. My daughter and I have to wear shorts otherwise it scraps the backs of our legs. Still scrapes against our back. 2) on 110v it takes a long time to heat up and loses quite a bit of heat while we're in it. If I bring it up to 102 and we're in it for an hour, it's down to 99 or 98 by the time we get out. Having the top open and the jets going really cools it down. But, that's to be expected. We're planning to switch to 240v soon. 3) the manual isn't as comprehensive as I'd like or need for a first time hot tub owner. 4) the access panel is held on by 6 long screws and isn't easy to get into. Conversely, this means it's also very secure. I'd give it a 5 star for these reasons: 1) the support has been great - responsive and helpful every time I've reached out to them. 2) the ease of shipping and set up was great - really couldn't have been much easier (except for the access panel issue from above.) 3) perfect size for us - small enough to put anywhere, to fill and heat. Large enough for 3-4 people comfortably. 4) jets are nice, if we were to get another one, we'd probably get more jets - but they are definitely adequate. I would agree with all the comments about the difficulty in learning the maintenance. It's a pretty steep learning curve. However, a month in, and I feel like I'm finally figuring out the rhythm of it all with the cleaning and chemicals and such. I would also agree with the comments about how much the electricity, water and chemicals cost each month. My guess is we'll add between $100-150 per month onto our bills. Still, we believe it's worth it. I keep the temp down to about 95 degrees overnight, and then go out about 2pm, check the chemicals, and turn up the heat to 103 degrees - which means it's about ready for us at 7-8pm. There may be a better way to do it, but we've found this to work so far. If you want to get in the tub at different times each day, it's a little more difficult. You would probably have to leave the temp up to 100 all the time so you'd only have to wait a little bit before getting it to bring it up to full temp. That's just too expensive for us. So, we plan to get in after dinner each night, rather than during the day. Overall, we're really pleased. Again, I'd give it a 4.5 if I could. I have a severe sensitivity to mold and environmental toxins, this is an easy and lovely way to help detox each day from those. It's also so relaxing. I know I'm sleeping better too. ... show more

  • Best affordable hot tub
Color: Gray Granite
The media could not be loaded. This company is the real deal!was scared of buying a hot tub on line but gave it a try. First it was delivered in a great way on our property to set it in our designated spot. So easy fill it up plug it in and let it heat up . It’s pre programmed but if you want something different it comes with a complete guide with pictures to reprogram your needs .We live in northern Michigan and it was delivered to us in February so pretty cold , but it kept it’s temperature all winter and we only noticed about a $15 to $20 increase in our bill during winter. Summer time no real change to our bill . We did run into 2 separate problems, control panel issues and a leaking hose which were solved in a very fast time period. Reached out to them and Angela solved our problem each time with no cost to us . I will definitely be doing business with them when we upgrade! ... show more

  • Broke twice in 2 months
Color: Gray Granite
I was so excited for my very first hot tub. We read all the directions got it all set up, and used it about five times before it broke. It stopped heating, and there was an error code on the screen. The troubleshooting guide said that we should test and replace the sensors. Ok, seems a bit advanced, but we watched some YouTube videos and got the job done, only to find that it still didn’t work. After emailing customer service and waiting, not so patiently, we finally got a repairman to come out and help us. He replaced the entire motherboard, and we were back in business! UNTIL we used the hot tub exactly three more times, and as my husband touched the button to turn it on tonight, the entire control panel fell down into the abyss. He is currently dismantling the hot tub to try to retrieve the control panel. We spent almost $5,000 just to be stressed by our relaxing purchase. ... show more

  • The Real Deal
Color: Cobblestone
This is a very roomy and wonderful hot tub, full of features. It comfortably would fit four adults. Jets are variable but numerous and targeted towards your body according to where you sit. Just know it's really big, which can be an issue with shipping and delivery. The shipper wouldn't back down my driveway for delivery and we had to hire out someone with a skid loader for placement. After that, just plug in and heat. Absolutely love it! ... show more
