  • Great Product!!
I’m really impressed with this hot tub. I’ve owned it for about 3 months now. It has been one of my favorite purchases. It is so nice to have a hot soak whenever you feel like it. Build- Very sturdy, quality product. Both the tub and the inflatable cover are great. I did have one of the plastic buckles break on the cover when I over tightened it. I plan to replace the clasp, the strap is still great. No big deal. I’m impressed with how sturdy the walls are. I weigh 250lbs and can sit on the wall without any fear of collapse. The filters, pump and heater work well. The heating element is not super powerful. It has been dropping below freezing at night here in Coastal Virginia. It was able to maintain 103-104° until recent drop in air temp. It struggles a bit to stay over 100°. Also there is a auto shut off function of the heater runs for 72hrs straight. That is annoying. I guess it is there to prolong the heater life though. Twice recently I’ve come out and the display reads “END” and the water has dropped below 70°. After reading the manual I found out is due to the 72hr auto shut off. Now I keep a closer eye on it during sun freezing temps. I’ll unplug it for a few minutes then plug it back in. I hope that will reset the timer and keep it running hot. Seems to be working. The bubbles are pretty cool. I don’t use them often though. I’m usually not a fan of the jets in any hot tub. I prefer still quiet water to relax. Cleaning and maintenance is easy. I got a hand pump hot tub vacuum. I make a whirlpool and all the dirt goes to the middle at the bottom. I can suck it all up with just a few pumps. I take a water sample to the pool store ever feel weeks and they tell me how to keep the chemicals balanced. It’s pretty simple. I add about 2tbsp of nonchlorine sanitizer powder after each use and shock it with a 2tbsp chlorine shock powder once or twice a week. That’s about it. They recommend a water change every 3 to 4 months. I just did my first one. It was easy. Drain, wipe, refill, shock, relax. ... show more

  • Excellent quality at an excellent price
I was very close to spending $5k on a hard side spa before my friend gave me some excellent advice. He has a spa and knows how hard it can be to keep it in top condition. He recommended me buying an inflatable to see if it is really something I wanted to get into. Before I purchased this hot tub, I read literally hundreds of reviews. While the product had many great reviews, it also had a few bad ones. I'm here to tell you that ALL of the bad reviews were most likely user error/whiny people. I have had nothing but good luck with mine. I have had it for about 2 months now, and use it 4-5 times a week. The setup directions were very simple. I was using it within 2 hours of getting it (without hot water though as that takes some time). If I had to say something a little negative towards it is that the heater does take a while. That being said, if you plan ahead and keep the heater on, you won't have any issues. If you forget to turn it on and get home from work and want to get in it, you won't have hot water. They are very correct when they say it goes up about 2-3 degrees per hour. The walls of the hot tub are absolutely rock solid. I'm blown away. You can actually sit on it and it feels like you are sitting on a hard side tub. The only thing I cannot speak on is the longevity of the product. Hopefully it will last a long time because I am enjoying it. I do have a few pointers: YOU HAVE TO CHECK IT EVERY SINGLE DAY! I cannot stress that enough. You cannot go a few days without checking the levels or you will never get the spa balanced. Throw away the test strips and buy one of the liquid test kits. I didn't get a good grip on the spa til I went this route. Spray the filters out every single day! The seats that you can purchase are not worth the price. The ground is amazingly comfy and the chairs don't stay put. Spend that money on chemicals. Go buy a different bromine floater. The one it came with is a little cheap. ... show more

  • INTEX FILTER PUMPS ARE JUNK , MADE IN CHINA!
Only had spa for 6 months. Filter pump motor went out ! I also have Intex above ground pool and pump goes out in a VERY SHORT TIME. ( 2 months and only run it 3 hrs. a day) Intex pumps are JUNK !!! I’ve gotten very good at installing the impeller kit, which is a ceramic shaft and impeller.(soft material and fits VERY LOSE INTO THE IMPELLER WHICH CAUSES EXTREME WEAR) I really had my doubts to buy another Intex, WILL NEVER BUY INTEX AGAIN OR RECOMMEND ONE. You can buy a impeller kit but the shaft is brass, soft material also and wears out about same as ceramic shaft. I found a TUNGSTEN shaft (actually would be ideal for this application and is made in AMERICA)on eBay for 16.00, gona try this one and it doesn’t include impeller. I’m a retired journeyman machinist of 41yrs,so I’m very familiar with this stuff. 1st. Off it’s made in CHINA AND IS A EXTREMELY POOR design. The shaft has .067 (1/16 of a inch) slop onto the impeller, this causes EXCESSIVE WEAR. For anyone not familiar with installing a impeller kit you can You Tube it . Don’t mean to sound negative but spa cost me like 1,100.00 and I SHOULDN’T HAVE TO REPAIR THIS !!! Glad I can do it though. I’ll give a update later on with the Tungsten shaft , no pun intended. Does sound FUNNY though. Hope this is helpful to you all. Have a good day.****************+*****************+********+***UPDATE 12-1-21. I INSTALLED THE STAINLESS STEEL ROD, ONLY RAN FOR 1 MINUTE AND LOCKED UP . CODE E90 AGAIN! TOOK PUMP APART AND IMPELLER LOCKED UP ON STAINLESS STEEL SHAFT. SHAFT WAS DISCOLORED FROM HEAT AND GAULED UP A LITTLE. PUT NEW CERAMIC ROD BACK IN AND WORKS PERFECTLY. NO METAL ROD OF ANY KIND WILL WORK , ONLY THE CERAMIC ROD. I JUST REPLACE IT EACH TIME IT GOES OUT. OTHERWISE THIS IS A GOOD SPA, NEED TO REDESIGN FILTER PUMP !!! IM A RETIRED JOURNEYMAN MACHINIST AND AM VERY FAMILIAR WITH HOW THIS WORKS . ITS BEEN 6 MOUNTHS SINCE I SET UP THIS NEW SPA. JUST GONA LOG HOW LONG TILL I HAVE TO REPLACE NEXT CERAMIC ROD . ... show more
