I just received my well-packaged blanket and am pleased with how it is working, just out of the box. It came vacuum sealed with a few instructions not listed here, so I thought I would share. It states: "This product is vacuum packed. When taken out of the package, the button might not be used. This is because the air is pulled out out while vacuum packaging, the button will be back to normal 6 - 8 hours later after taking out of the package." While I may not understand why that is, it is written here and may be why customers say their blankets don't work, right out of the box. Mine happened to work immediately. Another feature some might miss is that it will turn itself off after three hours of continuous use to protect it from overheating. That may also account for customers saying it suddenly stopped working. It may have been in this regulatory cycle and they thought it was defective. It does not say how long it will remain off before it starts working again, but at least the information is there. I might get a second blanket to use while the first is cooling. Then I could rotate between the two of them. Because the blanket easily folds within itself to create a portable pouch, it would seem practical to me, depending on how long I would want to use a blanket beyond three hours. The material for the blanket, itself, is like a soft sleeping bag. That makes it insulated and warm, even without the heating feature. I kind of like that. To find a battery with a DC port, I searched batteries designed for heated vests. I found five vendors selling the same battery I chose, but at varying prices. I had to read down the page to locate all the details for the product to find the specifications recommended for this blanket, but it was there. At the top of the page, the battery's vendor advertised the DC 7.4V port as a 3.5mm DC port, but the battery itself was labeled DC 7.4V when it got here. It also included an advertised adapter to accommodate a 4.0 mm DC port, which this blanket does not use. But I thought I would mention it as a characteristic for this specific battery, if someone was looking for it. The battery also has a USB output, and C input with included cable for charging. The blanket takes time to fully heat up. At first, I thought I received a defective unit. There was only a small area that activated in the beginning (about the size of a grapefruit). But 5 - 8 minutes later, the area broadened to a fairly generous heating surface that spread across my lap. The low setting worked more than enough that I won't worry about needing a higher setting, to save on battery time. It was soft, comfy, and cozy. Somewhere I read there was a 6-foot extension cord inside the blanket's pouch to use with the separately-purchased battery. But for the blanket I received today, it was only a couple inches. It was long enough to comfortably connect to the battery for storage inside the front zippered pocket, but not outside it. It works well enough. The other thing I did not realize before purchasing this was there are snaps on two outer edges of the blanket that allow the user wear it around the shoulders while snapped in the front. So, hopefully it will continue working for a long time to come. The blanket's instructions include contact information for customer service offering a replacement or refund, if needed. There is no available power source for this size plug to power the heater. I looked for a power source to fit the plug and I looked for adapter to change the plug into something usable.

My boys wanted to get me something for the winter. This was a pleasant surprise. The blanket itself measures about 55" x 38". I found it very easy to wash, fold, and use. Please keep in mind that a USB Battery Pack does not come with the blanket. However, it does have a 6 foot extension cord. When using the heating feature, the blanket will heat up very very fast. Luckily there are three settings, hot, medium, and light. I look forward to using this outdoors when I watch my boys play soccer or other sporting activities. One thing that you sort of have to get use to is having the USB Battery Pack stored in the blanket. I store the USB Battery Pack in the storage area near the USB plug-in area. ... show more

I love it works great only have one negative comments and that is it only heats the middle of the blanket thought it would heat the whole blanket other that yeah it's great gets nice and toasty and can be easily draped over you or snuggled under

I purchased this in September to prepare for the cold weather during high school football season. When I received the blanket,I never opened it. Since the weather was still hot. I opened it yesterday and it has a DC connection!😡 It does not fit my power bank! The products description said it uses a USB and it's even on the picture. It does not! Since the return date has expired, I'm stuck with a worthless blanket. Please don't waste your money. Not worth it. ... show more
