I had no idea that this air conditioner would be so big and heavy. I am disabled and could barely scoot this thing into the house. It weighs 71 pounds! I haven’t taken it out of the box yet, I can’t wait to plug it in and see how it works. I will add to my review in a few months.

I got a Wiytamo AC last year for a smaller room and was pleased with its quality and cooling speed. Recently, I bought another one for a bigger room. The unit cools the room quickly, and the remote control is very handy. However, the sound can be a bit too loud at times, although it's acceptable when in sleep mode. I read all reviews and have experience with these type of machines. I’ve had it for 2 weeks and since day one, this machine builds up a considerable amount of condensation. Per the instructions I wanted 24 hours before using. Initially the machine kept needing to have the tank emptied every 2 days, now it’s everyday to even recently overnight. I stay in a really dry climate, AZ. My other cheaper machine does not need to be drained as often ( about 3 weeks) and does not have all that condensation. I only purchased this machine after researching others and needing it to cover a higher square footage. I’ve read the manual front to back and can’t figure out what’s going on. When it stays on it’s does a good job of cooling the living room area but the constant draining is not worth it. Sadly it will be going back. ... show more

It’s big and heavy but did a proper job of cooling the room. The wheels work well so it’s easy to wheel it to another room. Easy to use. Nice to have the options of fan only, dehumidifier, and heat. I have never used an in window air conditioner before so I don’t have anything to compare it to but here are my issues: Really noisy. There is no way I could sleep in the same room as this unit. The noisy motor has an annoying pitch. I’ll either cool the bedroom then turn it off or use it in the living room since I can always turn up the volume on the tv. The window insert for the vent : This consists of two pieces of plastic with one sliding into the other. If you want to use this horizontally, the smallest it will go is 36”. I suppose you can cut the plastic but then it limits how tall you can go if you want to mount it vertically. Because of the one piece sliding into the other, you instantly get a gap. There is no weather stripping or anything to help it fit. They suggest using duct tape to help secure it in the window and to cover the gaps. Not very attractive, good for the paint or practical if you want to use it in more than one location. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. The portable AC and Heater unit is on wheels making it easy to roll around wherever you like. Before plugging it in let it sits for 24 hours it says for optimal performance, which I followed, and the unit works great. It is a little bulky and has a hose attached that needs to run out a window so you can't really put it anywhere that is not by a window. It comes with a plastic piece that goes into your window and allows your window to shut. It is not made for small windows, but you can cut down the plastic to make it fit. The AC and heater both works great. It does take it a little bit of time for the heater to start blowing warm air, but the AC is instant cool. The unit comes with a dehumidifier feature as well that pulls out all the moisture out of the air. The unit also comes with a drainage line, and it's advised to hook it up, so it has continuous flow, but you'll need to put a container behind it to collect the water. You can also leave it plugged and has a bottom drain that is on the very bottom, so you'll need something short and big enough to drain the water. Maintenance on the unit is to clean the filters once maybe every month and to make sure the unit is drained of water too. It connects to your WIFI, and you can download the app super easy to connect with the unit and once you're on the app you can set up a schedule for it and it will turn on and off automatically to the temperature you have set saving energy. The unit itself 14,000 BTU which is good for about 250-350 square feet. It keeps my small bedroom and bathroom attached comfortable. ... show more
