I found a great use for this that I doubt many have thought of. First of all most of you should know that this fairly cheap device is NOT a portable air conditioner at all. It is what would be classified as an air cooler or evaporative cooler. This actually works great if used in moderate temps or low humidity environments. The misting function feels very good. But even ice cold water will do almost nothing in a hot humid area. But this works pretty amazing with a Heat Exchanger. This is basically water cooling, where ice cold water runs through pipes and releases cold dry air much like a real conditioner. You then put this fan flat up against the Heat Exchanger and it will blow the cold air towards you. No need to use the misting function which adds humidity to the air. I use this setup out on my porch on hot days and if you sit no more than a foot away with the vents angled up at you on the fastest speed setting, this actually works better at keeping me cool than other more powerful fans I've tried to use. Because the design of this fan allows you to easily suck the cold air directly from the vents of the Heat Exchanger. An insulated 5 gallon bucket with a Gallon jug of Ice or Ice Packs will give you hours of comfort sitting outside without the sweat. 😁 As for the actual Fan, it's pretty good quality for the price. It's not a super powerful fan but it gets the job done if you are sitting close to it and the air flow is impressive for the air it does push out. My favorite part is how simple and effective the vent in front of the fan is. You can easily direct the air to your chest or face. Works great as a Humidifier and the tank holds quite a bit of water. Since this does not have a rechargeable battery you will want a good size USB power bank if you want to use it for hours. I love the handle to carry it around. The lid seals nicely so the water doesn't leak. 4 sturdy plastic feet unfold underneath which make this thing Rock solid stable on a flat table. It's got 4 fan speeds. Setting 1 works well if you want it quiet to sleep in a cool air conditioned room. Setting 4 is what I always use outdoors but will need a decent battery bank to use it for a long time. Overall I didn't expect to end up liking this fan as much as I do. I can definitely recommend it even if you don't use it for exotic purposes like I do. 😄 ... show more

This is so nice! It’s not as windy as I thought it was going to be but it is super light and portable which we liked for when we need it. We store the cords and remote in the top when traveling so it makes it easy and just take it out when needed

It was fine at first and works fine on a nightstand but the mister broke after less than a month, and the fan barely works. i paid $70 for basically a bad humidifier. i would not recommend, and i would not buy it. does not keep you cool, even if it’s less than 2 feet away. 👎👎👎

I bought this cooling unit in early June to prepare for the summer heat wave, I am in the SF Bay area, we don't need much air conditioning except a few days a year. The small and portable unit is all I need. The unit is very light before filling the water and easy to use (no need for the instructions) Cord & remote can be stored in the water tank area when not in use. Filling the water from the top makes it easy too. The fan power is stronger than I expected, with water it can turn into colder air (I need to try it with ice to see how cold it can get) The remote is a great add. If you are looking for spot cooling, this is a good option. It can't compare to the air conditioning system or large cooling unit if that is what someone is looking for, it's meant for a small space or personal space. ... show more

The media could not be loaded. I am using this cool down one of my bedroom don't have air conditioning it's works great I add ice cubes to water to get cooler air it's cool room down fast with ice cubes and water very fast of you have ice packs you can us them to ... It's got different colors lights ... Button look like tree give faster wind from fan ... It's give cool mist on you so can sleep ... With 3 settings of mist you can see mist coming from air cooler which really cool looking it's like mist fog coming from unit ... You can us air cool on solar generator with no problem of power go out or for camping ... On fan it's got 4 setting which very nice on high of it's unit sitting on table you can feel very cool air around 10 feet away from unit with no water on my table from unit ... My puppy fell in love with air cooler because it's his room where his love to sleep ... It's be great to cool down dog holding cage on very hot summer day ... Of you go to store with your puppy you can plug into your car keep your puppy cool wen your in store it's use less 10 watts of power on solar generator run for hours I run it's on solar generator for more 12 hours before I change it ... That's was on small solar generator ... Just ways I will used air cooler it's keep your pets safe from over heating on hot summer day your pets will love you for it ... show more

It worked well, while it worked! Even with cleaning the inside and making sure it was dry in between uses, it still rusted, all the misters started rusting and one of the five misters started leaking on one of the two fans I bought. If it didn’t breakdown within a month of having it I would recommend this product. But to me, it has been a waste of money. ... show more
