I liked the low price, low powerconsumption and space consumption, and love the cool air it produces. I live in SW Florida and our summers are brutally hot. My bathrooms are not equipped with AC and I can't afford to upgrade yet. I'm more concerned with closing the deal with the final payment that must be made to take ownership of the land and buildings we are purchasing. Back to the AC . Love how quiet it is so I can use it while I sleep, the airflows pretty good and even without the Ice packs (it comes with two so you can switch them out and always have one frozen), it keeps my room comfortable and cool; I even have to turn it off sometimes when I get cold!     • good idea, questionable execution
The concept behind this product is sound: a fan blowing on a cold substance to produce cool air. It is the way that air conditioners actually work. However, the small, compact nature of this unit makes it not very effective, even when cooling air in a small room. The fan is what you would find in a desktop PC computer, and the ice container that you insert in front of it unthaws quickly. Thus, for this unit to actually be worthwhile would require you to have several ice packs (only two come with the unit) and to be able to rotate them out every 2-3 hours. Otherwise, once the ice pack unthaws (in 1-2 hours, depending on the ambient temperature), it will contain only room-temperature water, and thus the fan will only be blowing room-temperature air. So, forget about this cooling down a warm room, car, camping tent, or anything else were ice will melt fast. Again, the concept behind the product is sound; it's just that making the product function as advertised would mean having more ice packs to rotate more frequently from the freezer than actually come with the device. ... show more

So, I live in Florida, and work in an office space where the owner demands that the air conditioner be set very high. After our "conversation" about this, I decided to take matters into my own hands and ensure that my office space be at the temperature that works best for me! So I purchased this personal AC and could not be any happier! You do not need to constantly refill it with water, as it comes with two ice blocks that last 2-3 hours. When the air coming out gets warm, you just go to the freezer and grab a new block! Any noise the unit makes drowns out the chatter going on the in office- so that is a plus!     • Nice little cooling system
This tiny little box keeps a small room cool. I got it to help my dogs (who love winter) stay comfortable. They love sleeping right in front of it and it still keeps that room cool. The two ice blocks are so handy since one is always ready. It’s so easy to move around. I’m very satisfied.
