Great little product. Easy to install and pumps enough water for a small fixture like a 5 gallon pot or something less than 2 feet tall. Only downside is it does NOT hold a charge and will NOT work unless full sun is hitting the solar panel.

A must have for your birdbath. A big solar panel plus the fact that it has rechargeable battery to store solar energy makes it winner. Pump will work in filtered sun unlike some of the others ones that need full sun all the time. Long cord from panel to pump makes it convenient to move panel to sunny locations. I clean pump weekly or more depending on if it's windy and blown pine needles/leaves get into bath. Cleaning takes about 30 seconds. Pump doesn't shoot out like a geyser, but good for a birdbath. ... show more

Ordered this Solar Fountain and one other - both had battery storage capability. This one is fantastic. The birdbath is shallow so I worried it would not work well. Instead it runs all day long; we keep the nozzle on that has a low fountain so the wind will not displace too much water. It has been running a few weeks now to perfection. Only thing we do is replace water so the birdbath is clean. Surprisingly our hummingbirds like this fountain as much as the song birds, finches, sparrows, chickadees, etc.... ... show more

It worked fine, not bad for the price but i measured the flow rate under optimal conditions which is shown to be 350 liters per hour but it's really closer to 284 liters an hour. I'm returning it for a pump with higher flow rate which will also be measured.
