Very easy to assemble, you can watch my videos and see how quick, maybe less than 2 minutes I assembled this unit. The light feature is a separate unit which will be attached to the fountain. Technically if for any reasons you don’t want the light or even if you want to use it somewhere else then you can do it. Attach it to the pool jet is easy and you just need to make sure if you have correct adapter. The pictures of the light reflections are beautiful on the website, however, after charging in full sun 2 days in a row, the reflections were very dim and only spanned a small 4ft area. This probably the most disappointing aspect because I was so excited to have the cool patterns of lights on the bottom of the pool. It's too short for inground pool and not as depicted on the website images where the sprinkler appears up above the level of the edge of the pool. The sprinkler attachments leaked at the connections and were difficult to thread. Unable to parallel streams. The streams would only converge. Unable adjust spray to a finer mist for better cooling effect. Returning item for refund. ... show more

The fountain is exactly what I ordered, the light cam on before we put it in pool. Once. Has not worked since. But we didn’t get it for the light so I am happy ish. I think is a little overpriced but all in all a great product . I pd a little extra for the light because I figured my Grand kids would like that . The light wouldn’t work at first so I put a return in for it but then I turned it off and on off and on like a kid lol and I’ll be it started working ! We live in south Texas and really didn’t expect it to cool our water by much but, to our surprise we no longer have a 30 ft hot tub !! Like the sound also .It is relaxing . ... show more

The thing itself is flimsy plastic, the attachments do not fit properly (it has a 1.5 male or a 2.2" FEMALE connection). Pressure of your filter will determine how far it sprays, but the hole are too large to get any real distance. Don't expect a matching spray from each arm. Not sure about the light, to eager to return it. Has directions on how to put it together, but not how to connect to the pool/pump (the more challenge problem). ... show more
