I actually like these better than the custom drapes I bought for my house. So I may replace some of my drapes with these; they’re definitely a lot more affordable than the custom ones were. They washed well when I first bought them, but I haven’t taken them down to wash them again because no one sees them in the garage. But they seem to withstand wrinkling - I open one window in order to pull cool air into the attic at nights because my attic fan and vent are in the garage, and even though I’m always bunching up the one curtain in order to get to the window, it still hangs nicely when I let it go. Got these blackout in gray to help keep out the sun in the summer and the cold in the winter. Paired them with semi-sheers to filter light for my plants. Put them up in the start of winter and so far they have been helping keep out the cold, and they look nice. But did have to iron them before hanging them. ... show more

The black curtains completely block out any and all sunlight. I have my curtains sealed to the window frame with Velcro so no light comes in at all. They do require ironing… I did not iron my curtains and months later they are still creased.

These blackout curtains save my sleep when the full moon bathes me in a pool of light. They’re good. Except over time I’ve noticed they begin to loose density & the light creeps in. Are they dry rotting? Not sure. Nothing seems to be shedding from the fabric, but thru are becoming threadbare. And they aren’t left out in sunlight.
