  • Excellent and will recommend
Color: Blush
I bought this on Amazon in August 2024 and have used it only twice. The first time, I was having trouble figuring out how to move the suction evenly across my face. I felt scratches on my face, which I could feel but could not see. A week later, I thought to give it a try again, and I was pulling the suction across my face with more confidence. I felt more scratches and red marks. At one spot, the scratch became a little deep. It took a few days to heal, which became a slight scar. I was upset and waited another week before I had the nerve to try again. I decided to change the grey disc that originally came with it. I tried many times but couldn't get the grey discs out. Unfortunately, I was a day late and missed the return window. I contacted PMD by email and explained my situation. They responded immediately and asked me to send a video of me trying to remove the disc and the purchase info. They sent a return label, and three weeks later, they replaced it with a new PMD. The first thing I did was remove the grey disc and put it back to ensure it was working. Since then, I have used it a few times and don't feel any scratches on my face. From this experience, the disc was stuck too tight the first time, which caused those scratches. My advice is to remove the disc and reinsert it before using PMD. The scar has been getting lighter since I started with the new PMD. My skin feels very soft, and the dark circle under my eyes has greatly improved. I am very happy with the PMD customer support. ... show more

  • Yes!!!

This works perfectly. Follow directions. Made my skin feel so smooth after use. Recommend starting on gentler pad first and working your skin up to more aggressive pads. Worth the money to me!! I have paid a lot for facial that my skin felt and looked the same As one session with this did

  • So far, I like it!
Color: Grey
This is an early review, as I've only used the PMD four times over five weeks so far. I'm a 27 year old female, and so I don't have a ton of wrinkles but I was wanting to even out my skin tone, acne scars, and see if I could reduce the blackheads on my nose, forehead, and cheeks. I followed the instructional dvd and tried it. A word of warning; although the dvd warns against leaving the machine too long in one place, sometimes the suction can just suck your skin in a spot and before you realize it you done left it too long. So I can't overemphasize the importance of holding your skin taut when using the PMD. Also the blue microdermabrasion disks are something to work up to, and I'm not talking about over 1 month, but longer. Your skin needs to get used to the system. So my actual experience: The first time I used the PMD, I used the green "sensitive" disk (I know I think the dvd says start with white to get used to it but I'm impatient), did my whole face, and the suction got caught on my cheek and under-eye area (also I know the dvd also said avoid the under-eye area haha, but I had a couple age spots I was hoping to get rid of). It tingled, didn't hurt too badly, but over the course of the next 3 days scarring appeared, especially over the areas the PMD got stuck. By another 3 days later though all that dead skin had peeled off, with what looked like happier skin underneath. So by another week later I decided to do a treatment again. Same exact thing happened. A week after the 2nd treatment, all the scarred skin had peeled off, but I decided to wait a week and not barrage my skin with treatments. Also I didn't necessarily like the whole "scar-then-peel" process I had been doing because during the time my skin was scarring my face looked ugly until that skin peeled off lol and my parents were wondering if something was wrong with me. So I waited another week before doing the 3rd treatment. When doing the 3rd treatment, I held my skin more taut, the PMD didn't suck into my skin too long anywhere, and I completely avoided my under-eye and gave up trying to get those age spots. I had no scarring and my face looked pretty much normal the entire week. Since my skin seemed to be doing fine, I did my 4th treatment a week later. I'm still using the sensitive disk, and this time I also used the wider sensitive disk to try on select body areas. Overall: I had some darker areas on my cheeks that seem to be lightening up, and the overall texture of my skin seems improved and more rejuvenated. I use less makeup, although I for sure use sunscreen every day. I'm looking forward to seeing further benefits, and would consider this product a super win if it gets rid of those unsightly blackheads and bumpies on my nose. But so far, I like it! ... show more

  • Excellent for Achieving Perfect Skin
Color: Blush
If you want to have perfect skin, and you're over the age of twenty-five, which I certainly am, you need to do microdermabrasion or have it done in a salon. I was having twice monthly treatments in a salon, but that gets to be very expensive and very time consuming. So, since I was so happy with my PMD cleaning system, I decided to invest in a PMD microdermabrasion system I could use at home. There is a slight learning curve with this device, but only very slight. After you use it once or twice, you'll get the hang of it and do just fine. My advice it to keep it moving. Don't let it stay in one place. This device really does exfoliate all the dead, dry skin from your face, even the dead, dry skin you don't think is there. (I use a gentle enzyme peel almost every night, and it does a wonderful job of removing dead, dull skin, so I was surprised, but pleased, that this device removed a lot more I didn't even know was there.) The suction of the device quickly vacuums up that dead skin, leaving your skin fresh and glowing. In addition, the vacuum encourages circulation and the formation of collagen and elastin, and don't we all need that? By removing the layer of dead cells, and make no mistake, after age twenty or so, our skin doesn't shed dead cells like it did when we were a child, your gorgeous, expensive, serums absorb so much more easily, and do their work so much better. It even helps remove superficial lines and wrinkles, and who wants those? I sure don't. (I have tiny pores, and never had blemishes, so I can't speak as to how it works with those, but my guess is, just fine.) I bought the Classic version of this microdermabrasion device because I really didn't think I needed more. One speed is fine with me. This version comes with three discs: very sensitive, sensitive, and moderate. I highly recommend you begin with very sensitive or sensitive until you see how your face reacts. I now use moderate or course discs because I don't have sensitive skin at all, but I did begin with the sensitive to make sure the device wasn't going to be too vigorous for even my skin. After using this device twice a month for several months, I now have a fresh, glowing complexion all the time. I love this device. It's become an indispensable part of my beauty routine. I don't ever want to be without one. ... show more
