Great alternative to the puppy pads you throw out after a few uses. I use it as a pad beneath a puppy pen and swap out whenever I notice a stain/smell. Pup typically goes on a smaller pee pad and grey pad acts as an additional barrier. It doesn’t cover the whole bottom of the pen, but I normally have a water/food bowls and a bed to take up space in the uncovered areas. I'm using these mats under my dogs water bowl. They look really cute and work great protecting the floor. I can't figure out how my dogs get so much water out of the bowl and on to the floor, the mats work great for this. Included is 2 mats, so when its time to wash one, you have another one ready to go. I use these under my disposables so there is no leakage and my one dog spins so the disposables on tile floor would end up everywhere the non slip backing helps with this and helps with leakage. Washed a few times already hold up great
