I have a dark area in my rental house, I didn't want anything that has to be permanently installed I got a pair of these even though I only needed one, the price was that good and it was the right fit... one of the reviews said it was too dim... holy cow, I have no idea what they are talking about, it's super bright. Too get a decent picture, I had to dim it down. Otherwise it was just a bright blur lol. Super easy to install, just a matter of hanging it up. I'm going to use the second in the room I'm now teleworking from because I can use the extra light. This might be my favorite purchase this year~ you know, when you're looking for something but can't quite put your finger on it and end up being super happy? Yup, that's this little light!     • Bright light and easy to inslall **Updated **
The media could not be loaded. I bought these lights to provide ambient lighting in my covid home office. Previously the only light in the room was from the window and a small task light. On cloudy days the room was gloomy. These lights are nicely bright without being harsh (I opted for the warm white rather than the sunlight white). I don't really use the dimming feature, but I could see it being nice if installed in a bedroom. On thing I'd like to see is a switch that wasn't on the main electrical cord (say, tee'd off of it) to make controlling it easier from my desk, but I have one plugged into a switched outlet, and I can buy a separate switch for the other. Overall I am pleased. **Update: I have had these in my office for about a year now and one of them is no longer working properly. It flickers horribly making it unusable, and it also isn't able to get to full brightness anymore. So far the other one is still working, and I wonder if that is because it has seen much less use. Reduction in stars by 2 for the short life of half of the lights. ... show more

I ordered the warm white model which shows a picture of a yellowish more appealing appearance which I prefer. Box arrives stating it is the warm white model on the label. I install the mounts and secure the lights to the mounts. To my suprise when I turn on the lights, the color is cool white not warm white. Installing the lights was a pain because of the small screws to secure the lights and the screw holes are on the side making it difficult to access. I have no intentions of uninstalling them. The cool lights are horrible because they resemble lights in a hospital or office cubicle environment. Ruins the ambience of the bedroom. Quality did not verify the model in the box before shipping. Btw, light bulbs cannot be replaced. One star forbrhe quality team not verifying the correct model was in the box. ... show more

    • 1/3 of dimmer inoperative
Nice light, tough to install, 1/3 of the dimmer not operative. Meaning, there's a "click" then you have to turn the knob about 1/3 of the total way before the light starts to come on. Seems like it should be "dimmer". Both are the same so I suppose that's just how they're made.

    • Light Burned Out…
The lights look very nice on the wall, but my wall lights only been on the wall for two days and one of my lights flickered for a few seconds and then burned out. I literally smelled a burning smell coming from one light; and the Led driver box is where i discovered the smell was coming from, when i removed the light off the wall to inspect the problem. There is a smell coming from the small white box. Nothing got wet or anything. It just flickered, and burned out. So now i have only one working sconce. Will be contacting customer service as soon as i can. Hopefully i can get a replacement for the one. ... show more

    • A bit small but functional. Lowest setting not low enough.
For use by the bedside, there was too much cord between light and switch. I coiled up some of the wire with a twist tie and tucked it up behind the glass. For a candle-like atmosphere, I would have liked it to get a little dimmer before shutting off. Finally, the rotary dimmer switch works fine, but to me it's backwards -- up should be on, not off. ... show more
