The wood is sturdy. We have had this kitchen playset for years and it's still an all time favorite of our daughter. There are so many life-like features for your little one to enjoy hours of play. There's tons of storage options for clean-up time as well. You won't regret this purchase.

This kitchen set seems like a knock off of another brand. I bought my older daughter a kitchen set like this a few years ago by another company but couldn’t remember which so I ordered this thinking it’s pretty much the same. It wasn’t . It’s shorter than the description says and overall smaller than the original design. My 2nd daughter was 3 at the time and this item was still a bit too small or short for her. The proportion of the kid in the photo to the kitchen is definitely not accurate at all. This is not very good quality. Flimsy and breaks easy even when trying to put it together. I’d say it’s more so for perhaps a One to Two year old considering the height. It’s an ok set though. Just don’t have high expectations or for it to last long or for a 4 and older child. ... show more

The product was beautiful when it was set up for my 3 and 1 year old on christmas morning. Ive watched my boys play with it every time they have used it because its in our living-room. By January 15th, we went to move the kitchen set one inch back and the entire bottom snapped off as shown in the picture. All of the doles, screws and wooden chip pieces were on the floor. My one year old quick put it in his mouth but we got it out in time. I was going to throw out the bottom piece and just let it go, because I typically don't complain about products. Ive never even written a review before, but this one was necessary. Then a few days later on January 23rd, I went to close the dishwasher door on the set and it totally snapped off. Once again, sending little wooden pieces flying. Then a few days later, my one year old was just holding on the sink (gently bc he is a very gentle boy) to move the way it was placed and a choking hazard came off (the tip of the sink) in his hand. The same day, my three year old son went to turn on the kitchen sink and the one handle came off. Then the next day the other handle. They had it less than a month before it totally fell apart and had to be thrown away.
