First things first, I love the aesthetics of this play kitchen. Part of the reason I choose this was the color way, it’s even more beautiful in person. My husband and I gifted this to our daughter for her 2nd birthday because she loves to play pretend! Build; it came with quite a few pieces to put together and it took my husband about an hour and half to finish it. So plan for it, because there are a lot of pieces to work through! He did it while she was sleeping. Quality: I definitely think we got our money’s worth! It’s quite sturdy to lift so you don’t have to worry about it toppling over! Everything fits as intended, doors were flush and closed as it should. The functional ice machine is one of my favorite parts. We got this for my 5 year olds birthday last month. She absolutely loves it and plays with it daily. PROS: I love that the oven light turns on when you open the door, the hood and fan are so cute. The light and bubbling/simmering noises from the stove. She loves wearing the apron and chefs hat. All the doors to open and close, which are really great storage. Sturdyish - you definitely need to have it up against a wall, not in the middle of a room or it can topple. In the photo, the kitchen is at its tallest setting and she’s about 35 inches tall - I can see this working for us for a while. CONS: reason for the 4 stars vs 5. The ice maker - very hard to get the cubes to fall out, you have to be rough with it at first. They’re starting to come out easier after a months heavy use. The edges - it’s wood so I get that the edges would be sharp and she’s learned the hard way to give the doors some room. All in all - a wonderful purchase and we looked at MANY play kitchens. It’s very pretty and looks nice in our living room where she spends most of her time playing. I gave a negative review initially bc it came with a broken piece that we didn’t realize until after we had it mostly assembled and amazon told me we would have to take it apart and ship it back for a replacement. I searched and searched for weeks for the perfect play kitchen for our daughter. Something that fit our budget and was also made from safer materials. This checked all the boxes and we snagged it in prime day so that was even better. It’s also stinking adorable and my daughter hasn’t stopped playing with it since I put it together.
