Both of my kids (ages 2 and 6) enjoyed this toy when we were home on a sick day. Ironically, I would say that 3 to 5 is probably the target age group. My kids had a blast making and decorating "ice cream" creations, and played with those creations for several days after. There are enough supplies for them to use it at least one more time (if not more). I would definitely recommend as a relatively neat rainy day activity. We love all the colors this set has. The special drizzle compound is easy to clean up once it has had some to dry a bit. It can get sticky though. Our granddaughter plays with it every time she comes over and offers us "desert". It keeps her busy for at least an hour. I think she really enjoys it.

This ice cream set has been providing hours of fun for my 4 year old. He loves making me ice cream with all the toppings, sprinkles and syrup. I was worried that the syrups would be too messy but since they “harden” after they’re on the Playdoh, it’s not as messy as I anticipated.

Kids have been having fun with it. Has kept my 4 year old entertained multiple times. Not a fan of the liquid slime stuff (drizzle syrup). Although it’s a fun idea, It’s too messy. Great, cute playdough set for lots of play.

These are very messy so if that’s not your thing (especially when doing it with little kids) this may not be for you. The instructions said not to use so much that it goes over the edge which is laughable because kids are going to squeeze those bottles like there’s no tomorrow and get that messy goo everywhere. Also note once the sauce is out that’s it, it’s kind of a one and done for drizzle. But the toy itself is great lots of little play doh stencils and easy to operate! While the play doh set itself is lots of fun. We had a ball making the ice cream sundaes, cones, and various toppings. All excited to use the sauce or drizzle. My little one squirted it on. According to the instructions it takes 5 minutes to dry. While it did dry on the play doh...the excess that poured down side and onto tray did not. The red one stains. My fingers, all the play doh , anything it touches. And it does not come out of clothing. The chocolate-which was purple..did not stain, but was an equal sticky mess. My advice...don't give these to your child, and have fun playing with the play doh and shapes.... ... show more

So upon seeing this my 3 y/o son is obsessed with ice cream so added it to my cart thinking nothing of it, christmas day it's one of the first things he wanted to play with okay cool no worries, making breakfast & I come out to help them clean off their table to eat... & Was met with an oozing mess...
