I've only owned this oil for 2 days, but I am already giving it a glowing review, because it deserves it. I got sick on September 4, 2015. I thought just a simple sinus infection. Oh no. it was a sinus infection, double ear infection with the most annoying, hacking cough thrown in. I was prescribed two rounds of Z-pack by my physician. It helped, but the sinus congestion and sinus headaches never totally went away. On Halloween, my 4 year old daughter woke up with a gross, wet cough and fever. After a visit to immediate care, we were back on the antibiotic bandwagon. Sure enough, about 4 days into her illness, I got sick all over again. The sinus congestion was the worst I have EVER HAD in my 30+ years. I was put on Keflex this time, and while it was helping, I could not rid myself of the sinus congestion. I could not smell or taste a thing for four days even as the cough was improving and I was feeling better. I ordered this out of pure desperation. I have believed in essential oils for a while, but was unwilling to buy those super expensive Young Living oils and hadn't had time to research others. I forget where I got the link to Plant Therapy, but after reading reviews on several oils, I decided on this one and I bought an InnoGear diffuser to use with it. As soon as I got it, I plugged it and let it run until it ran out of water. I woke up the next morning, the congestion was almost gone. Everyone at work noticed how much better I sounded after weeks of hearing me cough and blow my nose to no avail. I plugged it in again last night, same thing. Today? NO CONGESTION. It is gone. I'm still on Keflex (last day) but after several days of that, the congestion was still there. It did not clear up until I started using this. Coincidence? Possibly. But after suffering for over two months with The Sinus Infection That Would Not Die, I don't think it's mere coincidence. Now I will be an obsessive customer forever. I already have about ten oils in my cart and at least that many on my Amazon Wish List. Thank you, Plant Therapy, for allowing me to feel normal and healthy again. Thank you for giving me my senses of smell and taste back. I'm a believer in the healing powers of essential oils! Disclaimer-I WAS NOT paid for this. I just want everyone to know how awesome this blend was and am so happy to feel normal again. UPDATE-I am still using this DAILY in my diffuser at home! I also have gotten my mom, my sister and one of my coworkers hooked on Plant Therapy oils! I just bought a VicTsing Essential Oil Diffuser and needed to buy some essential oils to go with it. After researching some of the top selling essential oil manufacturers, I decided to go with "Plant Therapy." Their oils are of the highest quality and I also like the fact that they are third party tested. They offer excellent customer service and they even have licensed aroma therapists on site to offer assistance to their customers for any questions they may have regarding any of their products. I ordered three different synergy blends which include Germ Fighter, Respir Aid, and their Relax blend. I'm using the Germ Fighter one right now and I am so in love with it! It has a wonderful aroma of clove and I can feel a definite difference in the air quality of my home. It feels like my breathing has improved quite a bit already. Can't wait to try the other two blends that should be arriving in the next couple of days. So glad I chose Plant Therapy and not some other manufacturer that offers a cheaper alternative with artificial perfumes added in. Before trying this oil I used Young Living brand 'Thieves' oil. I got very good results with the Thieves oil, but the price is prohibitive. This oil is very similar to Thieves at a fraction of the price. This is a pure oil blend without any fillers, it's very concentrated. The quality of the oil seems very good. About a week after buying this oil I got an ear infection. I had a lot of pain in the left side of my head around my ear and a little bit of swelling. I diluted some of this oil in Olive oil and put a dab of it on a cotton swab, then stuffed this in my ear while I slept. I woke up the next morning and the pain was gone. It seemed to take care of my ear infection completely in one night. I repeated this again the next night just to be sure, and the ear infection never came back. I'm very happy with this product and will purchase it again. It's great to have a 'Thieves' alternative at such a reasonable price. ... show more

I gave 3 stars as this is not an all purpose blend for me. Pros : this is a REALLY strong, concentrated scent that lasts a long time. I feel it does indeed kill germs & prevent spread of illness among family when used for cleaning and diluted for application to doles of feet. It lasts for days in a diffuser. BUT, for me, the scent is too heavy, & can give me a headache. It was overwhelming in my car & room diffusers. I found that mixing for cleaning, apple cider vinegar and water added a top note that made it more palatable for me. Adding a bit of orange or lemon to also helped balance the aroma. Not a bad product if you can tolerated heavy scents with a lot of base notes. ... show more

    • Nice, warm scent, with endless uses

I will admit that I may be biased; I love Plant Therapy and this synergy is no exception. The combination of oils smells spicy and warm and very nice, in my opinion. I use it mixed with unscented castile soap for my hand soap and not only do I feel that it gets my hands clean, but it also leaves them ever so slightly scented. I do keep it a low dilution so that it won't irritate my skin. I also use it in a spray as a natural hand sanitizer. I have diffused it and it is a nice scent, would be especially nice for winter holidays. I have kids so I also have their Kids Safe version, Germ Fighter. If you don't like the scent of clove and cinnamon then you might try the kids' version (or, obviously, if you have kids). I like both. I highly recommend this and Plant Therapy in general. I've tried many different brands, but I keep coming back to PT for their reasonable prices and excellent products. ... show more
