Q1: Is MagEZ Case 2 Compatible with Wireless Charging or MagSafe Accessories? A1: For wireless charger, MagEZ Case 2 for S22 Series is only compatible with some devices of Samsung chargers such as Samsung Wireless Charger Trio. Meanwhile, it may occur that it doesn't work with a wireless charger from another brand. Since a magnet is a foreign object that may interfere with wireless charging. Q2: Is MagEZ Case 2 Compatible with Wireless Charging or MagSafe Accessories? A2: For MagSafe accessories, due to the difference in Wireless Power Consortium between Samsung and Apple, our case is not compatible with Apple MagSafe Charger. It could only charge when you power off your phone. When power on, it couldn't. Actually, even without our case, the Samsung Galaxy S22 is not compatible with Apple MagSafe Charger. However, we did test some MagSafe Chargers from other brands and it works well since we embedded MagSafe magnets in our case. Meanwhile, it may occur that it doesn't work with a MagSafe charger from another brand because magnet is a foreign object that may interfere with wireless charging. Q3: Why Could This Happen and How We deal with That? A3: Wireless charging is converted by the magnetic field, and electricity turns magnetic to electricity, so when the wireless charger is charging, there is a magnet next to it, which will interfere with the magnetic field, resulting in abnormal charging, as a result, the wireless charging IC detects foreign objects, and there will be protection. Overall I like the very slim profile of this case, much less bulky than other S22 Ultra cases. However it does offer less protection (especially to sides of phone). I have multiple [officially certified by Apple] magsafe charging pucks as well as 3 different Belkin MagSafe mounts, and S22 Ultra won't charge reliably with any of the magsafe accessories I have tried. Might work better with Pitaka's own charging mounts or different mounts, but not with official MagSafe ones rated up to 15w charging for iPhones. To be fair, even without the case on the phone, hard to get S22 Ultra to charge via magsafe puck either. There is a strong magnetic connection with this case, stronger than Magbak case I also have that is supposed to support MagSafe. So I will say if you are getting this just to use on MagSafe mounts only (not charging!), It works well for that. Good solid connection to magsafe mounts. However, for charging, cannot recommend it. It will show the charging indicator and seems to charge for 1-2 min or something short, before stopping charging. Update: Forgot to mention I also tried Apple official MagSafe battery pack and Anker Magnetic battery pack. these packs get somewhat blocked by the lowest camera cutout on the back of the S22. Not certain any case will be able to get around that. It is not helped by the extra protruding lip that the pitaka case adds around the camera. But anyway, for me the magsafe charging via battery pack was also not reliable. even if you twist the pack to an angle where the top corner of the battery pack is not interfered with by the camera cut-out, the pack would not charge the phone for more than a moment or two before charging would stop. ... show more

The wife has an iPhone so I wanted a case that has magsafe. Most cases I've seen are ugly or too bulky. This one is super thin and is exactly what I was looking for. The new design (cutouts) of the case looks better than the previous model. My only issue is that it's expensive.

I like this case, only negatives are it's a OIL / fingerprint magnet, soon as you touch it and the light hits it right you can see smudges all over it, a bit annoying... also, when sticking this on ANY magsafe charger it sticks on the charger fine, the phone says its charging, but in every test i have done the phone only charges for a minute or so then stops so its not reliable to charge the phone at all. ... show more

I didnt get to try this out for long because roughly after a week of having it on, someone stole my phone and dropped it in the middle of a highway and everything was destroyed. BUT, the only negative I noticed with it was it really needs more protection for the front of the phone.

The 3 stars are for the fit and the magnet, they both work really well and the magnet is positioned just right. The downside is that this case is so expensive and only after a few weeks of use the corners are fraying and it looks terrible.
