Since it was so difficult for me to find a product that would be compatible with my iPad Pro’s Magic Keyboard, i think it’s very important for me to write this review. Due to the price, i think anyone would be skeptical to buy the case especially when there are some reviews that say the keyboard doesn’t close all the way. For my experience, this iPad Pro case works perfectly. It’s simple, thin, and fits perfectly and connecting to my Magic Keyboard. I can easily place and remove any time. I also attached photos that showed that the keyboard closes perfectly and the entire item together looks slim, thin, and minimalistic. There is a corner of the case that exposes the iPad (the one that connects to the corner of the keyboard case). But I’m pretty aware of how I handle my iPad when I remove it from the keyboard case. When I’m not using my iPad i connect it to the keyboard and close it so it’s perfectly covered. The Apple Pencil side can still hold the pencil just fine. Just know, case or no case the pencil can fall off when you’re holding it if you accidentally hit it so if you’re clumsy I would recommend a case that actually has a pencil holder built in. I don’t like bulky items so I like to keep mine simple and slim looking. Lastly the buttons on the iPad Pro case works perfectly fine for me. Not sure if there were too many reviews on this specific product (i was looking at so many) about the case buttons not working properly but it worked fine for me. I recommend this case. Overly priced for what it is, but it is the only case that is almost compatible with the Apple Magic Keyboard. Very lightweight doesn’t seem like it would protect the tablet from a drop, but will keep your tablet from getting scratched.

While I usually spend a little more to get Pitaka - I went with the Tom Toc version of the Pitaka Folio Case & MagEZ Folio to save about $50. It was a mistake. The TomToc version protects the Back of the iPad but adds no additional Protection. The TomToc Folio Case is Sturdy - but heavy - and worse - the magnets just aren't strong enough to hold the iPad in Landscape Mode - And the Portrait mode is simply unstable. The Strap for the Apple Pencil is great when carrying - but is a seaparta piece that can be misplaced. Compared to the Pitaka case - it's not worth the $50 savings. The Pitaka Folio is thin and light-weight - The Case covers the exposed parts of the iPad - but is razor thin (Like my Pitaka iPhone Case) - plus unlike the TomToc - it works well with or without the folio Case. I was looking for a case that was compatible with the Magic Keyboard and would also work with my Apple Pencil. I read reviews and decided to give this case a try and it’s almost perfect. It’s nice and slim so it doesn’t add any extra bulk to the Magic Keyboard. The case has a slot along the top for the Apple Pencil, and it does allow for the pencil to attach and also charge from the iPad. The only complaint I would have is that I wish the buttons (volume and power) were raised a little more. The buttons are basically flat with the case. This case is a nice and lightweight option that fits well with the Magic Keyboard and is compatible. However, it has a minor flaw in that it doesn't allow the Magic Keyboard to close securely. Although there is no visible gap when the Magic Keyboard is fully closed with the encased iPad, the magnetic pull feels diminished, resulting in less resistance when opening the keyboard. For individuals like me who frequently detach the iPad from the keyboard to write, this case serves its purpose effectively. It smooths out the camera bump and provides a comfortable grip. However, it's important to note that this case may not offer significant protection against drops and impacts. Its lightweight design and the fact that one side is cut off to accommodate the Magic Keyboard means there is no protection for that particular side of the iPad. This compromise is necessary to maintain compatibility with the Magic Keyboard. If you prioritize the convenience of using the Magic Keyboard and appreciate the case's benefits in terms of camera bump smoothing and grip enhancement, it could be a suitable choice. However, if you require a case with strong protection against bumps and drops, it would be wise to consider other options that prioritize protective features over compatibility with the Magic Keyboard. ... show more
