I’ve installed and used motion switches for many years. When my last one would not turn off, I bought this model. OMG. It’s perfect. Here’s why: It has just 3 wires, no neutral required. Worked immediately first time. Instructions are well written and helpful. It comes with all a modern face plate with hidden screws It blinks short green when motion activated. Time can easily be set by pressing white button from 1 to 15 minute shut off. Button also turns on and off manually. Smaller button disables entire unit. Easy installation, and I didn’t have to change any settings for my installation. Looks good, and is easy to use. I will change settings to see how well this unit performs, and if there’s anything noteworthy I will post an update.

    • When inadvertently turned off by a guest, it stays off until manually restarted again.
All good but except one fatal design flaw - for me. This switch controls the exhaust fan in a guest bathroom. If a guest inadvertently turns if off by pressing the big button, it will not revert to auto sensing until it is manually turned on again. I cannot return it in good conscience since it probably suits most other people. Guess I'll have to eat the $13 and get a different one. ... show more

    • Great power saving switch!
One of my bathrooms has the vent fan and light on the same switch. Generally no one in my household likes to turn off the lights in common areas, not even at night. I don't really mind because they're all low power LEDs and some are controlled by smart home timers. But the bathroom fan going all the time is too much. Not only is it unnecessary for the humidity when there's no shower, but it's sucking out heat or air conditioning and wasting it. So I turned out home bathroom into what feels like a commercial / public bathroom but honestly it's been working! On a 30 minute time delay it is long enough to last anything other than the very rare long-time bath, and no one has to think about the switch. Setup was just as easy as any other light switch or outlet and I like how simple the adjustment controls are (although I'm just leaving it at the max of 30 minutes for the time being). It's hard to pinpoint how much of a difference it makes cost-wise but I like to think it's helping the energy-efficiency of our home in a significant way. ... show more

OK, this is an updated review. I took out the first comments and upped the rating, here's why. I received one unit that was probably returned to Amazon and they turned around and sent it to me - didn't work. Not the product that frustrated me - Amazon shouldn't have shipped again. The process to determine this took a while - I thought I was doing something wrong. Second unit worked fine and has been for the past week. I filed for a return and didn't have a chance to return anything. The company got ahold of me direct and refunded 2 of 3 that I bought for the inconvenience. I will need a couple more and will go back to get more of these. ... show more
