I was worried they didn't fit because you have to push down firmly until they snap into place. Works perfectly for my needs. I have a hen that was attacked by an eagle but I saved her. Unfortunately she had some injuries that prevent her from standing up. As long as she is trying I am trying. 1/2" PVC pipe works great to make a chicken wheelchair. It is a work in progress.     • Rolls smoothly and straight
I highly recommend these rubber wheels. I have been fighting a folding laundry cart with cheap wheels that glided sideways for a year. I had enough and finally bought these wheels after having in favorites for a long time. I didn’t want to spend the money but am so glad I did. Worth the money. These wheels are amazing they go in any direction I push my cart. They are non-marking of my sealed cement floor and don’t make any noises with a full or empty cart. These dont fit snugly into the pipes. Any weight and the wheels start to splay out. good idea, but do not work on pipe legs.

    • Good wheels, stem possibly a little small
The wheels are good, the width of the stem seems a little small. Not sure if I measured the pipe wrong, but they wouldn't stay in. I wrapped hair ties around the stem and got a sufficient fit. I didn't notice instructions on how to measure to get the right fit, but I feel that would help customers and reduce returns. Overall I like these and I am keeping them. ... show more

I like to dabble in building my own pipe furniture. These casters are the BEST I have found for adding mobile capability to my projects. I purchase the 3/4" casters, they insert directly into the 3/4" pipe. I do not know the weight limits but I have built some fairly heavy desks (over 100 lbs) and a TV stand that I move over carpet occasionally. There is no buckling or giving way. I have bought several additional kits for future projects. If you are wanting to build your own mobile pipe furniture, this is what you need!!! I couldn't be happier. Fits pipe decor brand pipes perfectly. I have read several reviews stating that these casters don't fit other black pipe brands. This can be addressed by using a step drill bit to ream out the inner ID to fit the insert. Be careful and use a vice to hold the pipe when reaming the hole. I did this and was success full with 8 table legs. I like these casters and will likely add them to another side table. ... show more

Bought the 1/2" casters, and they just simply don't fit snug in a standard 1/2" steel pipe. Too loose to functionally support any item with weight. If you're putting casters on something you want it to be safe and secure. This is neither of those things.     • These Are Great Castors And Don't Work For Pipe Furnitura
I get these to build a pipe desk. I like things to have wheels and these showed in the images that they work specifically for pipe. Well the ends meant to be inserted are hard plastic and when I tried to insert them, the stiff, hard plastic just broke apart. It is too rigid to insert properly. I will be returning these. I gave them a 3 because these are really nicely made. They just don't work for the job they are listed for. I am super disappointed. ... show more
