Originally purchased more expensive Pioneer head unit. Reverse camera setup was a challenge and it only worked for ten minutes or so. Nobody believe me it was the head unit and not the installation (by me). I purchased this unit particularly because it had a short chassis and would fit in my BMW without the nonsense of cutting the air box behind the radio. It arrived and was working within ten minutes. I was on a short deadline, leaving the US into Mexico and I just had to have a backup camera functional. This saved the day and has been working fine for over two weeks now. Decent Pioneer stereo. Running 2 12" Skar Audio DDX @ 2000W with AudioPipe amp.... And this stereo sounds great. Lots of customization with EQ to make in-cabin sound quality crisp and clear.

Not a fan of this purchase. Touch screen you have to touch very aggressively no matter how I change the sensitivity in the settings. Not a fan of the weblink setting because you can’t use anything while the truck is on. The only other option is using your phone as an iPod to use the music which is always a problem. Sometimes the music doesn’t play because it switches back and forth between Bluetooth and an iPod. Sometimes when the music does play it resets the volume down to zero. Last thing is the speaker for the phone. Can’t hear clearly and people can’t hear me clearly and when I try to switch back to my phone it immediately switches me back to the Bluetooth receiver. Overall I’m not a fan at all. Worst head unit I’ve ever had. Nothing good about this at all. Had it installed for a few weeks and this is the 7/8th time that the entire head into has reset back to factory settings ... show more

It fit well and sounds good. I bought it because I alway had good luck with Pioneer and love their remotes. The disappointment on this deck is the touch screen. It requires some pressure, more than normal and that is where the Kenwood has it beat. I use the remote when I can because the repeated screen pressure will more than likely ruin the deck.
