This thing is amazing. Juat watch a few YouTube videos and follow the instructions. It's a day/day and a half install depending on the location of the two components. I had about 22 feet between the two so purchased a longer line set. The unit had plenty of refrigerant to accommodate the extra length. Room cools very quickly and it's super quiet. Several fan speeds so even at night it's quite enough to sleep with it on. Best thing I could have done for the one hot stuffy room in my house. Definitely would buy it again. ... show more

This is a great Mini-split. I have several of them and after a year of heating and cooling no issues as yet. They heat and cool very efficiently and have cut my electric bills significantly. Easy to operate, nice remote control and very quiet. I prefer several smaller units as opposed to a multi-zone. I can run each when needed rather than fire up a big condenser when only needing heat or cooling in one location. I plan to buy a couple more in the near future. ... show more

I have 2 of these units. I work with ductless units install and repair since they started in this country. I figured I would go cheap because I can deal with any problems that would cost a customer more than the unit itself is worth in repair costs. That being said, these units are quite bad and the customer service is worse. What's their problem? Engineering is bad. How? First, - Heating has a serious temperature regulating problem on BOTH units. If I set temp to 61F they usually maintain around 70F, further, even 70F when set at 61F is inconsistent. There are a few instances where they were maintaining Temps in the 80s! When set at 61F. I sent several emails about this and not a single one was answered. Second engineering problem is the filter design. They are not sized correctly and the coils themselves clog around all the edges and requires a coil cleaning brush and coil cleaner therefore the heat maintenance required for these cheap units is 10 times greater than major name brands, if which I also have installed. And I don't have any of these problems with temperature regulation OR coil clogging. These are best for on off operation in a mostly non occupied space. All I trying to discourage people from buying these? No. I am recommending that if you buy one of these, and install it in a primary location, then you WILL be manually working the remote control temperature settings and power button almost as much as the TV. What is the response of the manufacturer? Nothing... zero, interpreted as a middle finger.. buy junk for junkie rooms otherwise buy a well known major brand, they ALL perform and are engineered far better than these. ALSO, one of the two units outdoor unit is shaking and vibrating like a small washing machine. Only after a year and a half of use... COOLING seems to perform slightly better in the regulation category however, i live in a very mild (marine) environment so my cooling needs are only about 10% of my heating needs. If you have the budget, then avoid, this is assembled junk ... show more

Bought for my 350 sq ft studio I built above my carriage house. Insulated very well. I got prices for professional installation without the wiring for 5300.00 I figured I could try it myself, ruin everything and still be ahead. Bought pump and gauges from harbor freight for 165.00 took me better part of a day to install and it works great. Many helpful YouTube vids out there. Total cost with the unit and everything was 1200 dollars. Not bad. I’m very happy and would buy again. Btw this thing is so quiet it blows my mind. ... show more
