I grabbed this set to test out and see if the paddles are worth the price. I've been playing just a few months at this point and have began looking for the paddles I want to progress farther with, I was feeling like my original starter sets had suddenly became obsolete, I'm wanting to learn to really spin and control that ball. Our starter set paddles just weren't doing that. The pickleball set arrived packaged together inside the bag and everything checked out great. The shipping was fast and the product arrives exactly as it should. The paddles themselves look great, feels great, and feels so well balanced it's almost like it isn't there. At first glances and swings this paddle feels to be exactly what I was hoping it was going to be. But you can't know how much you like a paddle until you actually play with it, but I was very excited now to get out there and give it a go. I already have 5 other mid grade paddles myself and a couple very high end paddles always accessible at the court so we see how this baby stacks up. I'm no pro, but I know what I like at this point. So we head to the racketball court to give our new gear a go. In play these paddles have a very nice sweet spot and covers all the bases. These are an amazing performer for the price point. While having ample pop it also carried a great deal of control and has decent but not amazing spin. Solid paddles, a nice bag and some perfectly good balls to use as well. What's not to like? After a couple hours use these paddles are hardly showing any sign of wear at all. I feel these are a great deal for the cost. Pros - very affordable, excellent control, OK spin, outstanding pop, and a very comfortable grip, I found nothing to dislike about this set at all, The bag is super cute and fits two paddles and three balls and that's about it. The balls are as good as any standard balls. Cons - The paddle faces could use a little better texturing and these need to be USAPA approved. The Jefoo Pickleball Paddles Set of 2, Lightweight Fiberglass Pickleball Set is an affordable, well made paddle set for the beginner and lower intermediate player. I have tested and reviewed dozens of paddle sets and single paddles, from entry level fiberglass sets to high end advanced carbon paddles. I am very frequently amazed at the quality and performance of many entry level paddle sets, especially given the very affordable prices. The Jefoo paddle set is one such set. Often, paddle choice for entry level paddles start with the visual - the graphics. The Jefoo set features flawless, colorful printed graphics with a bright, contrasting grip wrap. Jefoo offers a broad range of colorful graphics for a variety of preferences. I love the orange color set I ordered! The paddles themselves are high quality, 16mm/0.63" thick, fiberglass face construction. The width/height combination is a good blend for the beginner player providing plenty of surface space. The performance is very good and on par with other paddle sets of this price range. Most paddles in this market set (beginner +, fiberglass, under $50/ set) are 3/8" or 1/2" thickness; the paddles included in this set are 16mm or 0.64" thick and offer a bit more shock absorption than their thinner counterparts and provide a nice balance between power and control. While thicker paddles typically weigh more than similarly constructed thinner models, this set is still moderately light weight; mine weighed 8.1oz and 8.3oz (the slight difference is probably related to the actual length of grip wrap used on each). The grip wraps are identical to those provided in the majority of paddles, are comfortable and moderately grippy. One problem players with smaller hands might experience with this set is the grip circumference. Average grip circumference typically runs between 4.125" and 4.25" accommodating the majority of people. Other paddles, like the Jefoo, feature a larger circumference preferred by people who have larger hands or who like fatter grips. I personally find the Jefoo grip circumference of 4.42" preferable to thinner grips. Luckily, grips can be unwrapped, shaven down, and re-wrapped (you'll need new grip tape) fairly easily. While this Jefoo set sells for $5-$10 more than similar quality paddle sets, the price can easily be accounted for for at least 3 reasons: 1) While most paddle sets are available in 1-3 different graphics, Jefoo offers 11 choices; 2) the 16mm paddles provided in this set require more material than thinner paddles; and 3) the quality of the bag supplied with this set. The majority of low price paddle sets include a nearly identical, lightweight, black rectangular bag. Others, like Jefoo, provide a slightly more enhanced bag. I like the shape of the Jefoo bag (a bit more character than the black rectangular) and it has a couple of features not provided by others including a contrasting front zippered pocket (will easily fit 3 balls, or a phone, wallet and keys), extended pulls on the zippers, a wider adjustable shoulder strap, and an integrated nylon fence hook to hang the bag at your local court. As with most sets, Jefoo provides 4 entry level balls. While they are basic 2 piece welded balls, they provide reasonable performance to get started. All in all, I think this is a wonderful paddle set at a reasonable price for the beginner to lower intermediate player. A set that will provide hours - and years- of fun! ... show more

It is starting to get warm enough to play pickleball outside again, yeah! I love to evaluate pickleball paddles as I love to play pickleball. I have a few items to share. The handle grip is a little too gooshy for me. I love how light and fast the Carbon Fiber paddle is. It makes it so easy to maneuver! The Sweet Spot (SS) is small which makes it more difficult hit the ball. The SS surface was textured which made it easy to control the ball movement. The look and feel of this paddle is very artsy fartsy and nicely done. The hitting power on this paddle is great. It was sending the ball zooming back. I like that there is a backpack with the paddle set. Based on the value for the price, I felt the value was better than average. ... show more
