I've used other edge guard tape that is very thin by comparison. This stuff feels very thick / sturdy. My only concern is that a full wrap probably adds as much weight around the paddle as a few lead weights. It makes me hesitant to put it on paddles where I feel the balance is perfect. But if you don't mind that, it's very sturdy and protective and goes on easily. It's easy to work out the air bubbles and place it properly. ... show more

I've always used electrical tape to wrap my paddle edges, but it gummed up in hot weather and was not wide enough to wrap around the lip of the edge guard. So, I gave this tape a shot and used it to wrap my entire paddle (16mm paddle using the standard size tape - 25mm). I love it. It was easy to apply, it didn't bubble, it covered my lead tape well, it looks and feels great, and it appears to hold up well (granted, I've only used it for a few weeks). The only slightly negative things I can say about this tape is that they don't give you enough of it and I wish I had purchased the wider size, so it would have covered the entire edge guard (but, that's my bad). ... show more

The tape is very sticky so haven’t had any issues with it coming off the paddle. It’s much more durable than plain electrical tape. Provides good protection for edge guard.

This edge tape roll was super easy to put on my paddle and the quality was excellent. I have used other company’s products before and while they have flashy designs and patterns the quality wasn’t there for me. Very good quality. It’s flexible which makes it easy to install and get around the edge guard curves smoothly with no wrinkles or bubbles. I hope they start making more colors, I would continue to buy from them.
