I've tried 25+ pickleball sets and this one falls into the middle of the pack. They claim it's a carbon fiber "face" on the advertisement, but the specs sheet only reference a carbon fiber "frame". They also don't provide the weight of the paddles which is strange, and I don't have a small enough scale to weigh them myself. All said, these play fine and would make a decent beginner to intermediate set. These are NOT for advanced players as the ad suggests, as critical info on what the face is really made out of and the weight are left off, plus there is no grit on the face to assist with spinning the ball. ... show more

So, I am definitely new to pickleball and don't know quite what makes a good paddle yet. compared to friends, these take more effort to hit the ball with. they are fairly large, kids cant get their hands around them well. they do work though! the pattern looks cool but almost a little pixelated, like they printed out a poor quality picture on the paddle. This set is for beginners to intermediate players. Advanced players may dislike it due to its lightweight graphite construction. I found it to be a bit on the lighter end. The grip is mediocre and the usual you receive. I throw on overgrip as it is a bit small as is. The lightweight feel makes it have a few duds when striking the ball. Just one set of paddles of many we've been testing out lately on our court, and these were quality paddles! They come in their own strapped carrying case with 4 balls (2 indoor, 2 outdoor). Cool design, they've got a great grip, excellent weighting, and a honeycomb core that results in a great feel when hitting the ball. Only a slight amount of friction material on the faces of the paddle, but enough to get a good hit on the ball. Not the most expensive-feeling paddle, but not super-cheap either. My friend and I have gotten into pickleball lately, and we play at courts in our community often. I got these with the idea that we could take them to the beach or park whenever we are hanging out, and they are great for that! You can definitely use them on the court as well if you are a beginner, but they are not the best quality for beyond beginners. They are not regulation paddles, so just keep that in mind. I got this set mainly for the kids. We, as a family, are just starting out in pickleball so I don't have a lot of knowledge with paddles. I have tried a few different ones but the kids play a bit more often since they started playing this in school. For them, they like the pattern and think it is pretty cool. They like the lightweight feel of the paddles and the padded grips make them very comfortable. The set also comes with a carrying bag that will also hold the included 2 indoor and 2 outdoor balls. For me, the grip has a nice, padded feel, much like my racquetball racquets. I could probably stand a little more weight on a paddle but, again, I have only played a few times and may find that I like a lighter paddle. It seems to be of a decent quality construction and should last us a while. With my kids, that alone would be amazing. Overall, for the price of the set vs. the price of a higher end paddle alone, I can't find much fault with this set other than it probably wouldn't suit an advanced player or one who is much more competitive. Ocxven Pickleball Set This set comes with two pickleball paddles, two indoor pickleballs and two outdoor pickleballs. A nice zippered bag to hold all the items. This all comes in a nice box if you wanted to wrap and gift it. The paddles are very light and each paddle on my kitchen scale weighs in at just 7.5 oz. They seem well made. I like these paddles. I think they hit better that some of the more inexpensive paddles I have. I think they look sharp. The grips are very comfortable and they swing easily. I think most people would notice the extra pop in power with this set as opposed to a fiberglass paddle. I think the carry bag is pretty descent. I like that the bag says "pickleball" rather than a series of letters or a branding that seems off. Quality of the pickleballs is good.
