Our seven and nine-year-olds started piano lessons recently. They are doing so well that we decided to purchase a piano for our parlor area, where we plan to turn it into the family music room with a piano, guitars, drums, and other musical instruments. Excellent Christmas idea! Added a photo of my son in law for a size reference. He’s 6’2/240 pounds. Also want to add that he can’t keep his hands off of it :). The 'action and response' on the keys is very, very good and the quality of tone and sound is excellent. I am not a musical, electronic or mechanical whiz, but I did not have any issues understanding instructions--easy to complete assembly and it is very sturdy. This piano itself was exactly as described and pictured. Although we are all novice players (and an extra "thanks" for the headphone jack!) I am sure this piano would work just as well for intermediate or advanced players. Excellent quality. Highly recommend for anyone wanting a digital piano ... show more

Bought this piano as a beginner just starting to learn how to play. I can't really say how it compares to other pianos because I am not familiar with pianos yet, but to me, it sounds great. Very easy to put together, 4 boards to screw in, 10 bolts total. Also happy I can plug in my headphones and it will mute the sound so I can play at night.
