Description

A Y-cable to connect 3x4-Pin PWM fans to one 4-Pin PWM connector. As fan control via the Mainboard with a PWM fan is much more affordable than a fan controller, this cable is perfect to give more flexibility. The extension cable is sleeved with a black mesh which additionally protects the cable and looks great! This further expands the lifespan of the cable. The ends towards the connectors are fixated with heatshrink for a clean finish. A white marking on one of the split cables shows from which cable the rpm signal is transmitted. This cable is not only practical, it is also optically appealing, The surrounding mesh, also called mesh, which is surrounding the cable itself offers the advantages that every Pro-modder is looking for: A completely unique look, even of the cables in the system! Special attention was paid to the combination of cable connectors, sleeve and heatshrink which were used to ensure great design and a unique as well as elegant look.     • Who doesn't love a good three way?
I bought this for installing a set of three 120 mm fans to a radiator. The ends were close to the perfect length. This allowed me to neatly cable manage behind the radiator and run one sleeved fan extension from the terminus of this splitter to one of my motherboard headers with very neat and tidy effect. The sleeving and overall build quality of this splitter seems very high. In the past, I was not able to find an appropriate three way splitter, so I was forced to use two two-way splitters. This results in a less neat cabling, and uneven wire lengths that are harder to manage. So, I think $8 is a little steep for a splitter cable, but the convenience, quality, and the saving of an extra two-way splitter makes this a great buy, IMO. If you are using this as ( extension cable for 1 fan) .. make sure to connect it to the one that have ( 4 pins ) even if its 3 pin fans to show RPM ( please watch picture that I posted ) to understand what i mean The other 2 connectors have only 3 pins (red , black , blue ) no yellow tachometer wire (RPM) .. you can use these 2 connectors as ( additional fans ) I'm using this as extension cable so i connected my 3 pin fan, to the connector that have 4 pins ( have yellow wire to show RPM ) -------------------------------------- # Update: I have been using this for 3 years as extension to 1 fan.. it still work good + the sleeving is still in good condition, as you can see in the second picture. + Good Quality + All Black + Fits Snugly ( for me, some few people complain that it's loose ) Length : ~ ( 30 cm , 1 ft , 11.8 inches ) ... show more

    • Great for motherboards with limited fan headers
My motherboard has limited fan headers and I need to connect 3 case fans with PWM. This splitter works perfectly well. I am able to power the 3 case fans and have the system control it based on temperature. After installing and adjusting the fan curves, my system is quiet when needed, and the 3 fans can spin at 100% at high temperatures. Great product. ... show more

The 3 way splitter cable was very useful. It did the job by connecting three fans into one single connecter. Even though the wires look cheap, the product does its job very well. There were no issues when I was using it.

These are fairly common. They allow you to either up your fan count, deliver identical power to multiple fans, or both - all from 1 fan header. 2-way splitters are the most common, and I was happy with the one I had, but due to recent build changes I wound up wanting to control 3 pwm fans based on my cpu temp. Linux doesn't have very good software for fan control so I looked for a 3-way splitter and found these. I'm happy with the purchase. The quality and function is as you'd expect. The plastic headers have standard plastic and the sleeving feels fairly durable. Plugging fans in was easy and they all functions as expected. Overall no complaints. im a happy customer.     • Good for the price
This product was super useful in helping me attach some case fans to my motherboard. I do not need any third party software to have the fans spin at the appropriate speed for the heat in the case. The fans I add also had RGB and the RGB worked great through this splitter. It feels cheaply made, but as long as you aren't constantly fiddling with it, it should last.
