This bike is great. I've had it for a little over a month. It's fast. And heavy. I put it together rather easily. And I'm not the most mechanically inclined person. But there's something strange about it. The starter button on mine is different than the one in the manufacturer photos, as well as the photos in the manual. It's been redesigned it seems, but the corresponding literature and imagery haven't been updated. It took me a while to figure out where the Start button was moved. (See attached photos). Anyway, once I figured out the start button situation, I hit the streets! The speed is exhilarating. I got it up to 37 mph! I weigh about 180lbs. Hills are no problem. I haven't really tested its range yet. I keep charging it after each use. The one down side of the bike is the suspension. Specifically the lack of any suspension whatsoever in the rear. It is just brutal. This bike is very heavy, especially in the rear, and the shock from a slight bump or pocket in the road is transferred directly to your spine if you're sitting on the seat. The lack of suspension is a serious issue if you have back problems. Not to mention the potential damage that could be done to the bike's rear wheel and motor. At the very least, I would highly recommend upgrading the stock seat to one with built-in suspension. The tires are very grippy in dry conditions. But be VERY VERY careful if there is any moisture present and you're riding on asphalt or pavement. Luckily, I learned my lesson in misty weather in a parking lot going about 3 mph. I leaned into a slight left-hand turn and the tires slid out from under me almost immediately leaving no chance for recovery. I got back up and all was good. Not even a scratch or dent on the bike. But I shudder to think what it could've been had I been on the street going 15 or 20 mph. Anyway, I share this to emphasize that not only is this not a toy, but it may not be for beginners. It is fast. It is heavy. It is unforgiving. And it is exhilarating. But you have to pay attention. When you're doing 35 mph, you're going at motorcycle speeds. But you're still on what is essentially just a heavy bicycle with fat tires. You can be overwhelmed by the speed before your know it. The brakes are strong. Hydraulic. I haven't had any problems with braking. It's one of the strong points of this bike, I think. Also, don't skimp on a helmet. A regular bike helmet will probably not be effective protection at the speeds this bike can attain. The bike comes with side mirrors but they're not the most effective. I'm likely going to install a rear-view camera. There just isn't enough space on the steering bar to install them securely enough to not flop over on every bump. Mechanically, I've had no problems. So I don't have much to say about that. The bike has performed perfectly right out of the box. All in all, I'm ecstatic about this bike. The only thing that really sucks is the same model is available 3 weeks after I bought it for $300 less. So...yeah. At any rate, if you're looking for a beast of an e-bike, that is fun, easy to assemble, and works right out of the box, I highly recommend this one. And be safe. ... show more

So in the product description it says that it is good for riders in a large range of heights I believe you need to be at least 6'4" maybe taller for this to be comfortable for you I am not tall enough it does ride well and have great power but one of the first things I need to do is buy a new seat because this one hurts like bad if you ride it far the nose of the seat points up at the tip and if you want to still have children I suggest you not use this seat there is a major speed reduction if the battery is not fully charged as well but other than that it is fun powerful and fast ... show more

So I’ve had this bike for about 45 days, and have about 100 miles on it so far. I have really enjoyed riding the bike and have not had any breaking issues. I’ll point out a few things both positive and negative to help potential future buyers. Height - I’ll start by noting that I am 5’11 @ 225 lbs, with that said , it should be noted that the main bike frame bar is slightly pressed between my legs with my feet flat on the ground while standing straddling then bike. In my opinion I think the bike would be to tall for anyone under my height. Assembly - The bike was pretty easy to assemble except for the the basket rack on the back. It was not built correctly from the factory and I had to drill the mounting hole a little larger on the left side to make it fit. The gears had to be adjusted to make shifting smoother but that was just a turn of the nut on the derailleur. Speed /Torque- This bike has power! You will not be dissatisfied with torque and power this bike has. On power setting 5, which is the highest setting, I usually top out at about 37 mph. Battery Life - I went 15 miles on just using the throttle without pedal assist, and I rode it pretty hard , and the battery only lost 1 bar. My smaller Euybike 1000w loses battery much faster. Brakes - Very good! Ease of Riding - Overall the bike rides great and handles great, but could use rear suspension. DANGERS - There are two things to be extremely cautious of. First, note that there is a red button on the left side of the handle bar. This button allows you to switch between single and dual motors. If you have it dual mode and you are on gravel or a loose surface/wet surface , it is very likely that the front wheel will spin out causing loss of control. Secondly, be very cautious of using pedal assist modes in critical areas such as near intersections or sharp turns. The way the sensor is setup, even if you barely pedal and the mode is set between 2 and 5 the bike could ramp up and unexpectedly take off on you for a brief second so keep your fingers on the brakes. Lastly - I absolutely have no regrets purchasing this bike. I only wish Philido made a smaller frame. I think one of the most enjoyable things about this bike is that can pass gas powered mopeds! The bike is fast, and sturdy. Highly recommend. The only downfall is on my second ride the back tire got a flat and it's not the easiest to change out the tires.
