I was a bit uncertain spending money on a pregnancy pillow, but it has been so worth it! Once it arrived, I gave it the complete 48 hours to get to size, which it did quite nicely. I wouldn't mind if the product was a tad bit taller, but it's a perfect blend of firm and cushiony. Despite my concerns, it doesn't even swallow up our queen bed and can also fit nicely within a twin bed, for it can be as stretched out or as coiled up as you want it. The thing is crazy versatile, and I can't believe how many forms it can turn into to accommodate whatever part of your body needs some extra support. I struggle with varicose veins during pregnancy, and this pillow has given me just what I need to elevate my legs comfortably and help with the pain. Also, my little squirts seem to love nestling themselves into it, and it's become a great treat for them to get to borrow it for their naptime. Hello! Lets jump in. Semi-soft, a little lumpy to feel. I did let it air out for a day and did not smell sth strong. Can feel heavy at times adjusting shape to what you want. My recommendation in short: try this if your belly size is smaller side and 1-2.5 trimester. Bigger belly or 2.5+ trimester side sleepers, try wedge pillows rather than this C-pillow for the belly support. I had some hiccup with the delivery but eventually got this pillow at the start of the second trimester. Weight gain probably about 10-15lbs at the time, still able to wear bigger size pants and loose pajama i had before pregnancy with some tightness around the bump. Regardless of the size, i already had ligament pain / back tightness starting and sitting on the couch/sofa was somewhat uncomfortable and could not relax. I positioned this pillow like a bird nest and settled in and Ahh.. that relief of tensions.. Good pressure to back of quad.. it was great after the long day at work with endless morning sickness. At least muscles were able to relax. Same in the bed. Everyday was a bit different where i felt comfortable so i shuffled shape around but was able to rest better. Now this relief is not as amazing toward 35+ weeks. This is after weight gain about 20+ lbs. belly is big enough that I cannot lie down flat or on the back more than 5 minutes and shortness of breathe comes and goes. I found a small pillow wedging under side of the belly is much more effective in supporting the belly weight than this huge round pillow at this stage of pregnancy. This pillow is still being used for back/knees/ankles support and doing a good job. Hope this helps! ... show more

I absolutely loved this pillow when I was pregnant. It was the only thing that made it easier to get comfortable when trying to lay down and sleep. Before I got this pillow I had really bad lower back and hip pains and was not able to lay down or stay asleep for long periods of time, but the pillow offered so much comfort, flexibility and support for the belly and legs from both sides I was able to sleep in different positions, be comfortable and actually fall and stay asleep for a good majority of the night. Waking and getting up and dressed was made easier as well from the support I got for the belly and legs through the night, way less pains to deal with. It did wonders for my hips being able to support my legs and knees while sleeping. After I would get off of work I would even bring it out on the couch to rest with. My boyfriend made jokes about he was jealous of the pillow because of all the snuggles it got, which led to us talking about getting him one(: I even used it after my baby was born. I used it as a guard from the edge of the bed or couch as she slept (not close enough for her to touch it or be smothered by it). I also used it to help support her sitting up (kind of like a way bigger boppy with more of a droop so she was tilted up just enough to be sitting) when she was still learning to use her abdominal and neck muscles. I love my pillow and if I didn't co-sleep and snuggle my little one (she will be 2 soon) I would still be using it, but for now it's in my trunk at the end of my bed, waiting to be snuggled and offer it's comfort once again. 100% would recommend buying if pregnant or just need support while sleeping for less pain when waking up. ... show more

I toss and turn all night due to general back and joint discomfort and a friend suggested I buy one of these. Because they're called pregnancy pillows I had never considered them. This pillow makes all the difference in the world and my ability to find a comfortable position has drastically improved. Will somebody in marketing please rename these things??? Maybe something along the lines of Everything Hurts and I Can't Sleep Comfort Pillow? ... show more

This pillow is the best pillow. I have tried many pillows, including my husband. While he is very handsome, I regret to say he is an inferior pillow. This is how I have slept my whole life, on my side while cuddling plush toys or another pillow or yes, my husband! None are as comfortable as this pillow, which I can cuddle with my whole body including my short, stubby legs,(I am 5'1") all the while very comfortably supporting my neck/head. Unbeknownst to me I have been searching for such a pillow for all my life. This pillow is my OTP, my one true pillow. I love c-shape which I can also use to prop me up while reading by folding the pillow in half. If you are still with me, Dear Reader, this pillow is not only helping me sleep but you could even go so far as to say it is saving my life. This pillow is a game changer. I originally bought to help me stay on my side throughout the night during pregnancy as I’m usually a back sleeper (which it does). It’s just so comfortable. It has eliminated all shoulder and hip pain I had from sleeping on my side. It was the first good night’s rest that I’ve had during my pregnancy. I wish I had found it sooner.
