This is my third c-shaped body pillow. When I was pregnant with my second child, the c-shaped body pillow was a new innovation and the only brand was snoogle. I purchased my first snoogle and used it for less than a year. It became too flat and lumpy for comfort. A few years later I bought another snoogle. I'm a side sleeper and I suffer from RLS, so it can be difficult to get comfortable and fall asleep at night. The c-pillow enabled me to fall asleep quickly and stay asleep. However, the snoogle has hard stuffing that feels like layers of tshirts, and it gets lumpy and flat over just six or so months. I didn't want to keep buying a new pillow every few months, so I gave up my dream. But I never forgot how good it felt to sleep with that support. Now, years later, there are lots of choices for c-shaped pillows. I decided to try again. This pillow had great reviews, many of which referenced the same issues I experienced with snoogle. The price was great so I decided to go for it. When I first unboxed the pillow I was concerned because the stuffing was very unevenly distributed and there were big empty spots. Then I realized that this was a packing technique so it could be folded up. I pounded and smushed the stuffing and it was pretty easy to distribute it and fluff the pillow up in just a few minutes. The cover is high quality. It was easy to put on the pillow and fit perfectly (unlike snoogle covers, which are cheaply made, take forever to wrestle onto the pillow, and are ill fitting and wrinkly). The stuffing is a light and fluffy cotton batting that felt amazing to snuggle up to last night. I slept soundly through the night. I'm extremely pleased with this pillow. Time will tell how well it holds up. But based on my initial experience I am optimistic. This seems to be a carefully designed, high quality product -- at a very reasonable price ... show more

I've gone through several body pillows since my mastectomy (to keep me off my front). This one is the best so far. Not so bulky that it pushes my husband to the side, but substantial enough to keep me properly aligned, supported and cozy. My old u-shaped pillow was frustrating because the sides kept rolling off the side of the bed. This c-shape stays put. AND I love the long zipper along the side, which makes it so much easier to remove the cover when it's laundry day. Very happy with this pillow! :) ... show more

I was sleeping so terribly going into my second trimester it was terrible. I was quite skeptical of this oddly shaped pillow but needed to try something. Wow was I surprised. (I let it air out for 24 hours like it says and washed the cover). I don't think I moved all night. I've been using it for a month now and have been sleeping just great. Great head support, perfect for any position I switch to. Got my leg and hug pillow all in one! I definitely would recommend you try this pillow if you're not sleeping well. Not bad. I like the shape. It’s comfy. The only complaint I have is that it’s not as full as I’d like it to be. I wish it were a little more firm. This pillow I would not recommend it for the price I paid.

I had stomach surgery and I had to sleep in a recliner on my back only for a month. This pillow allowed me to sleep on my side and get some much needed rest. You can use it in a few different ways, such as for sitting up and reading or watching tv, and for sleeping. I laid the pillow on the side of my recliner and placed it under my head, between my arms like I was hugging it, under my stomach, and between my legs and feet and it was so comfortable and relieved any pressure on my stomach. In the middle of the night, I switched it to the other side and did the same thing. I have had great nights of sleep since buying this pillow. The cover is soft and cooling. It is easy to put on and take off and washes well. My daughter loved it so much that I bought her one as well. Worth every penny! ... show more

Not pregnant, just have a bad back and need extra support while I sleep. Pillow is good quality and worth the price. Fluffed up fast upon opening. I’ve only used it a few nights, but I already prefer the C shape to other U-shaped pillows that I’ve tried. The legs(?) of the U-shaped pillows tend to spread during the night (picture a lower case n doing the splits LOL) so those really only help me fall asleep and don’t provide prolonged support throughout the night as I shift positions. Constantly having to readjust is a pain. Thankfully, I’m finding that this C pillow holds its shape better throughout the night - even as I shift from my side to my back, etc. Might eventually add some additional filler. FYI, the apricot color is a baby pink rather than a neutral beige color like the pictures make it seem. I chose this color so the pillow would go with my neutral bedding, but sadly there’s a big difference. See photo for reference. Hopefully I can find a compatible cover in a cooling fabric that matches better. ... show more

My bestie is pregnant for the first time and this baby is kicking her tail. She has not had a good night sleep since she got pregnant and she only has two months to go. Her words were she loves the pillow, she's comfortable, and she gets sleep. So if you are pregnant or if you just need something to cuddle up with, get this pillow.
