This is the 4th one that I have purchased and none of us are pregnant but we do suffer from chronic pain and these are amazing, you just melt away into it. The cooling cover type actually stays cool and keeps you comfortable throughout the night,/day it soothes, relieves stress and helps with all kinds of pain. The velvet cover type is soft and wonderful too. My family member has a lung mass and it's hard for her to lean back on anything but with this she can and is finally able to get some sleep and rest. My other family members and I have a variety of chronic pain, back, neck, headaches, etc. and these have made such a big difference for us. Bonus you get 2 vacuum sealed bags, so be careful opening, just peel the tape, hold up the top and then you can either pull the string or cut right closely underneath the string, then slide out and open the next two bags zip lock style and the last bag just untwist, slide your pillow out and give it a few good shakes and pats all around and then sit or lay down and enjoy the bliss. I got it for back support after having 2 kids and now currently pregnant I wanted something to give me the back support I needed. I wake up with mostly no back pain and I sleep so soundly, pillow is soft and firm. The packaging was great came in 2 air thight bag and a plastic bag. No smell to it. I'm on my 4th pregnancy and have never bought a pregnancy pillow. This time around with 2 months to go it was time to buy one. I'm glad I got this pillow but also a tad disappointed. I've always slept on my left side so having the right thickness for a pillow is important for my spine. This pillow is to big to keep my neck aligned with my spine while side sleeping. Everything else about this pillow is amazing just as other reviews have stated. It's thick and fluffy, packaged extremely well upon delivery, very minimal smell coming out of the package. The support for my belly and legs was excellent. If the head rest wasn't so big this would absolutely be the perfect pillow. I did spend the extra $ for the cooling pillow. I’m actually not pregnant but have multiple hip and spine issues that were making it very painful to sleep at night. I tried regular pillows, special knee pillows, combinations of memory foam pillows that are differently shaped to cradle your body but nothing was comfortable. Finally I found something that helps! I have used similar pregnancy pillows in the past (when i actually was pregnant with my kids) and this one is softer and better quality than the more expensive pillows I had purchased previously during my pregnancies. It hasn’t flattened out at all and the support I’d say is medium (not too soft so that your legs squish together but not so firm that it hurts my joints). I feel like I’m being cradled in a cloud. I have spot cleaned a few areas and everything came out very easily. I haven’t been physically able to wash it yet. I’ve had it for about a month and am still just as pleased as I was the first day. This product is not only for expectant mothers.. I purchased it because I have major back problems and about to have surgery and needed support in the front and the back also love sleeping with body pillows so this is the ultimate body pillow.! Packaging was very tight and well packaged. The color is exactly what was advertised. I thought it would be a little firmer , but it’s pretty soft. I was only hoping for a little more firmness to be able to hold onto my sleeping however it works perfect. If you have back problems, you gotta try it. ... show more

I guess this is one of those situations where you get what you pay for. For just under thirty bucks I guess it’s not awful but I wish I just paid the extra 20 dollars for a better product considering I will not be returning this just because of the hassle but I will be looking for a higher quality product. I included photos of the pillow this photo is after a whole 24 hours allowed for expansion. I slept with it once and I can say the concept with the shape and length is perfect for a 5”7 athletically built woman. I didn’t buy this for pregnancy I purchased it because I am a stomach sleeper and it’s been killing my lower back recently with my sciatica. I was hoping this would stop me from turning on to my stomach and it definitely did its job. I like that the stuffing is within its own case and then covered with a pillowcase which can be removed and washed separately. I like that the quality of the cover is soft and cozy as well. The stuffing by the way feels like great quality like memory foam squishiness if that makes sense. What I didn’t like is that it doesn’t have enough stuffing in my opinion. I guess some peoples photos did show that but I just assumed it hadn’t fully expanded. It comes in a vacuum sealed package compressed and it’s completely protected so even the packaging was good. I however wish it had more firmness or really stability. You can see in the picture how the upper part is not as stuffed as the lower part so it’s flimsy up top and I just don’t feel contours the body the way it should.
