There are many pros and cons to this pillow. I bought the pillow at 28 weeks, when I first started to show and had some back pain. Overall I liked the pillow but you can see my details below. Pro: 1. Good filling: doesn't compress much when sleeping on it. It is a good height. It is a softer pillow and not firm. 2. Hip pain relief: helped with my hip pain by keeping my knees apart 3. Sleeping positions: the pillow allowed me to sleep in more positions than I was able to with just normal pillows. 4. Good quality: it held up really well for being used every night for a few months. I stored it for use in my next pregnancy. Con: 1. The zipper portion: this part always left me in the middle of the night. I had back pain and I wanted a pillow against my back. I am a 58-year-old woman and I toss and turn all night typically. A friend told me this pillow is amazing and makes you sleep like a baby....I was skeptical at best. I ordered it and that very night I slept so good. The shorter side supports my back the long side supports my knees, and my head fits perfectly in the top area. I have never slept better. It has been three months of the best sleep of my life! I was bummed when the zipper broke. I sent an email to the company asking if I could buy another cover. I didn't hear back from them but two days later a new cover arrived in the mail!! Buy the pillow you won't regret it. The cover is soft like T-shirt material, I actually added a bit more stuffing to my pillow. I went to the fabric store and bought stuffing and added it to my knee area. Love this pillow ... show more

I probably will use this pillow past pregnancy. I like draping my knee over something when I sleep. It used to be my spouse but he hates it, so I have found company with this pillow. I like that the neck support is relatively flat. I had been previously using a flat, memory foam pillow and was used to a low profile pillow. The one thing I wish could be better is the back support. The pillow is pretty flimsy, so while it's supposed to be U-shaped, sometimes it becomes V-shaped where the back support is way far off to the side and I have to pull it back and shove it under my back. Especially when I'm getting up to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, when I come back, the back support side is hanging off the bed. ... show more

I love this pregnancy pillow and don’t feel like I could sleep without it anymore! It took some getting used to, because I wasn’t sure how to sleep in it, the full length side is really bulky (I did read reviews that some get or seem fuller than others) and I wasn’t sure about not using my own pillow anymore, but that has gone away and it’s my new favorite sleep accessory (even my husband wants it after I have our baby!). I got the one with the cooling cover, and I think it helps - I typically sleep very hot, but I hardly ever wake up overheated by this pillow. The only issue I do have is that this pillow doesn’t help back sleepers. I wish the detachable pillow was more “sturdy” to be used as a back support, either being weighted or having some way to strap it to the full length side in another place under me so it doesn’t scoot away once I fall asleep ... show more

I loved this pillow while I had it. Sadly my baby spit up on it and it went through the pillow case. My partner decided to wash it and chunked it in our washer. I just had abdominal surgery and opted for this pillow instead of the wedge surgery pillow. This is perfect because you can adjust the shape based on how elevated you would like to be. I am usually a side sleeper but need to avoid that after surgery and this pillow helps keep me on my back. It doesn’t get very warm and feels breathable.
