PFARRER Tattoo Gun Kit This is a decent tattoo kit for beginners. It comes with many average supplies. It stands out slightly in that is comes with an additional back up battery! This is great, because many kits neglect to consider the importance of this. The machine can also be used with a corded power supply, a method I personally prefer, finding it an easier and more convenient way to control the machine. Another uncommon addition to the kit is machine covers, an important accessory if you intend to tattoo any living “ canvas”. Tattooing can be done with a wide variety of material, even just a simple needle and ink, but this kit will give you far better results than nearly any DIY method. With it's lighter 3.2 mm stroke this machine is better suited to shading than lining. If you already have a machine with a 4 mm stroke or higher, to use as a dedicated liner,this machine may make a decent choice for a dedicated shader. If this is the only machine you will have you can get by with it, (I made a few simple free hand designs during the test, using this machine alone.), but you will likely want to either get a dedicated liner, or upgrade to a variable stroke machine. The machine is well made, and I would say the kit stands out slightly from that of most competitors. Given it's limitations, performance was decent. Overall I would rate it at 3.5 stars. Explaining my rating system: 5 - a superior product - I would highly recommend 4 - above average – a great choice 3 - average – what one might generally expect 2 - below average – I would advise seeking an alternative 1- Horrible – a waste of your valuable money - avoid if at all possible ... show more

Right out of the box, this tattoo kit has everything a beginner might need and at a really affordable price as well. The quality of the tattoo pen and the accessories provided is decent, and it t comes with two 1500mAh wireless batteries, making it convenient to work without the hassle of cords. The tattoo pen itself is lightweight yet robust, offering a secure grip that makes precision work less daunting. It operates between 5-12 volts, providing enough power for detailed shading work, which I find more accessible due 0~4. 5 mm stroke length of the pen. Despite the kit's affordability, the batteries didn't feel cumbersome and lasted longer than expected, providing ample time to practice without frequent recharges. The kit also includes an assortment of inks and needles, giving me the flexibility to try various techniques and styles. The digital display on the batteries allows me to monitor the voltage and remaining power easily. For anyone starting their journey in tattooing or looking for an affordable, well-equipped setup, I can recommend this kit as it provides all the essentials to hone your skills. ... show more

I am currently a tattooist apprentice and figured I'd give this kit a try with not having high hopes of it being any good , however I feel like I misjudged it a bit . For starters the machine itself has been easy to control with very little vibration affecting my work on the fake skin even on 10 volts so the handling of the machine is better than my first kit I bought . The needle cartridges seem to be pretty good as well , they have done a pretty good job at retaining the ink and not spraying it everywhere which I've had issues with . I will have to say the one thing that's a bit of an issues but not really is it feels like the battery could be a little better after an hour on 9v it dips to about 50% but it does come with 2 batteries so it's not a deal breaker . Overall I'd definitely recommend this kit for someone starting out definitely a very easy to use machine , I would definitely purchase some 7 and 9 liners with it as well ... show more

Everything you could possibly need to get into tattooing. This is not something I’d use on skin for elaborate tattoos… but it’s amazing for anyone interested in getting started but not wanting to pay 1000’s of dollars. Pen is lightweight and grips well, ink is great quality. There’s things to practice on in the kit so it’s a great purchase all-around. ... show more

This kit contains lots of the gear you'll need to get started in the world of tattooing, and it is built around the rotary tattoo pen, which is silver, has parallel sides, and has an RCA jack at the top. This allows you to choose between running the pen off an AC power supply setup (not included), or using one of the two provided batteries. The batteries have mating RCA plugs. The batteries are fine, and have a working range of 5.0v to 12.0v. They work well, and are light due to their plastic (rather than metal) casing. The rest of the kit features a couple of sheets of thermal design transfer paper, a set of (practice) inks, a box of needle cartridges, a small set of ink caps, a roll of narrow black grip tape, a single set of black latex exam gloves, and even plastic pen machine bags. There is a sheet of smaller practice skin (synthetic), and a small instruction book. Now for the pen... The pen is thick, and it's parallel sides make it easy to fatten it up using grip tape and paper towel. It's got a good shape to the grip, and it also claims a stroke length that is adjustable from 0.0mm to 4.5mm. I'm not sure about that claim. What I am certain about is that this is a very rough running machine. It's both noisy (at every speed), and it has lots of vibration. That makes it a big disappointment. I love the kit, but my feeling is that working with this pen would be uncomfortable. It would likely be enough to turn off a beginner, who has only just begun to tattoo.
