This roost was very easy to put together. It even came with a screwdriver, so I did not have to use any of my own tools. All of the holes were where they were supposed to be, and the screws were all the right size. I am going to purchase another one for an additional coop.

I needed more roosting bars and thought this would work for my coop area. It didn't go together perfectly but it did go together. The wood is soft so the screw heads wanted to go into the wood. It has a bit of a wobble on a flat surface but for my chickens it still works. It should fit 2 chickens on each rung fine. Not sure if they will like the swing yet. Hopefully it holds up for awhile. ... show more

I love this roost set so much. It is perfect for my chicks that are 6 weeks old and it will be great when they are full grown! It is made of very strong wood and all of the holes are pre-drilled. They give you a screwdriver that you can build the whole set with. I built it all right away with no other tools. All you need is the small Phillips screwdriver they give you, but you can pull the end of the screwdriver out to change to a flathead screwdriver for other projects. Nice size and sturdy. I don't know how weatherproof the materials are, I have the perch under the coop cover so it doesn't get too much sun and rain. Looking at the materials that is made of, it may be a little pricey.

    • Chicken exercise
This chicken playground is natural and made with stained wood and rope. It’s a perch that can grow with young chicks to full grown chickens. The younger, flighty crew can easily jump onto the swing while a bigger flight can mean the roosting bars. When you’re putting it together , the bars look like they are in wrong because of the angle and the way the wood is cut. Everything is pre-cut and drilled. You are simple adding hardware. But after tightening and completing you can quickly see that it actually does fit together well and looks nice. I find the finished product to be well made and it feels sturdy. It doesn’t take long to assemble and I completed it (just one person). The piece is large so a large walk in run or inside a coop with some floor space is preferred. I’m using it as a jungle gym in a run and not their main roosting spot. I would recommend this chicken swing jungle gym for pet chickens. ... show more

This was very easy to build. I was able to put it together myself without assistance. The wood feels solid and the structure feels sturdy once put together. There are plenty of perch bars that can be used by multiple chickens at once. The swing in the center is so cute. My chickens love it!

My teen son easily put this chicken roost/swing together, and now our chicks are learning how to use it. I haven't seen them use the swing yet, but I hope they will. The structure is made of decent quality wood and feels very stable. It's a nice addition to our coop, but it is quite pricey for what it is. ... show more
