Our 13 year old Miniature Schnauzer was starting to have leaking problems so we decided to do a homemade version of a belly band. We quickly found out that that wasn't sufficient. So after looking at various belly bands, we chose this brand. It was the best decision we could've made! They are very absorbent and comfortable for him. He now doesn't just leak but often will accidentally empty his entire bladder into the belly band...and the belly band doesn't spill out! Washing them is very simple too. We rinse with water and spray with vinegar to pre-wash them. Then we put them inside out in a cold water wash and air dry. They turn out beautifully and they dry fairly quickly. We have had to purchase this item three times (for a total of nine belly bands) due to our dog's incontinence problem and having enough to not have to wash every single days, and all of them are still in great shape and working well. I got these for my senior Basset Hound who sometimes unexpectedly urinates in the house due to some medications he is on (which have increased his thirst). These bands are a good quality & the velcro closure holds exceptionally well. I don't know how absorbent they are yet because ever since I started putting the band on him, his urge to urinate in the house (before I can get him outside to go potty) has stopped. *My only criticism so far is that these do seem to run just slightly smaller than what is indicated on the size chart. His belly measurement is in the middle of the large size but I am finding that the large band must adjusted so that it is closer to the larger fit or else it seems to be a little too tight. (Because of this there is less overlap on the velcro being used to secure it, but it still holds really well.) It does have elastic along edges of the area underneath his belly which does help to give it some stretch.* ... show more

For several years I have been using a different product - a stretchy "hoodie" for my dog's ears. He's a cocker spaniel and his fluffy ears drag in his food and water when he eats, so using a cover to keep them dry and clean is necessary. But, recently he has had some teeth pulled and he is sensitive when I try to pull the hoodie over his head, so I decided to try and use these velcro-fastened male diapers instead. I bought the SMALL size which is a perfect fit for his head and ears, and super easy to wrap onto his head without any drama involved. I was hoping they might also fit for his rear end too, but even though he is slender-waisted, they just barely fit and I would have to size up to medium should I need to use them for pee-pee problems in the future. ... show more

My little dog Teddy Bear is already potty trained but when he is around other dogs, he marks... happens every time! The diaper works to stop him from marking all over my house and whenever I bring him to someone else's home that has a dog. The quality seems superb for these. My GSD has a 26” waist so I thought there would be plenty of room and fit would be no issue. The material they are made of doesn’t stretch and unfortunately, the XL barely went around his waist. The belly bands are absolutely amazing. They stay in place all day long. If the dog fully empties their bladder into the diaper, the pee sometimes seeps up the fabric and you end up getting pee on your hand when removing it. But honestly, it is a million times better than cleaning carpets and rugs constantly. Cleaning then can be difficult. It takes two runs through the washer to get the pee smell out if you’re lucky. I bought this for my 2 yr old cavie who seems to be very stubborn when it comes to potty training. I wrap one off the belly bands around him and he's good to go. It stays in place and absorbs very nicely. I've already washed them and they are very durable.
