These are such a wonderful product we used to use when going to visit family or friends we don’t leave them on for longer than a hour at a time it’s common sense to take your dog out to relieve themselves! I gifted a senior neighbor, for her male dog, a package of these she had an issue with her six year old Shih Tzu Fufu dog what is it in the house. She would leave these on her dog for so long that at one point when she went to put one on him, he growled at her and please know it’s not the dogs fault or her dogs temperament, the owner was leaving them on too long. These are fine when you’re going to visit a friend or family member, but common sense is the dog still needs to be taken out to relieve itself this fool lady found a veterinarian to put the animal that was a lovely six year old male dog down because it growled at her but this was her responsibility and I don’t blame the dog and I do blame the veterinarian that he put the animal down. These are meant to be used as a temporary holdover any event the diamond marks in the house be at yours, a friend or family members but please remember to always , let the animal out to relieve itself and then put the belly band back on these are a very good high-quality product at a very reasonable price! But please remember to let the animal out to relieve itself and then when you bring your animal back in the house, put the belly band back on, but under no circumstances, do not leave this on for an excessive length of time I’ve never had kids but common sense is he wants to wear a wet diaper it’s not any different than a senior citizen that wears adult diapers. They don’t keep the same one on 24 seven well it’s the same thing for the Billy band is to be used short term take your dog outside and take the belly band off to allow your animals skin to breeze and relieve themselves and then when the animal comes back in the house, you can put it back on but do not leave this on for a long length of time and it has nothing to do with the product it’s a great item it’s just common sense is the dog has went on for a certain length of time and it’s wet. Of course the dog is going to be irritated and not happy when you try to put a new one on and since were on the topic of common sense please do not walk your animal on the hot asphalt or concrete it’s a real simple test take your shoes off and you stand on the asphalt or concrete. If it’s too hard on your feet then you know it’s too hard on the animals paws and also while you’re walking around with a bottle of water for yourself. I have a senior jack whippet (13 years old) who has started having incontinence issues at night. I refused to subject him and I to sleeping separately after 10 years of sharing a bed. One of my clients (I am a dog trainer), had these for his puppy and I decided to try them myself. They appeared to be great quality and that they are. No leaking, no shifting around on his body, and the material is a lot more comfortable for him than some of the competitors wraps. The stitching is quality! I love that one end has one solid velcro and the other end is two velcros. It makes it easier to put on properly that way without having to undo it to adjust it. It came with an extender but we did not need it. It fits my boy perfectly on the smallest setting (we bought medium for him). He is 27 pounds and his waist is 16 inches around. I got the X-large for my Dane. He’s about 150lbs. Thank God for the three long strips of Velcro. It barely fits around him. However, the Velcro is so strong that it stays on securely. He’s really old and has become territorial with our Husky. So he’s been “spraying” around. This will stop it for sure. I used them a few years ago when my daughter’s dog went into heat. No way he could get through this belly belt! 😆 Problem solved! The ones I had back then weren’t as great as these are! These are super absorbent and wide. It’s great quality that I truly appreciate. A big thank you to the designer. Going the extra mile for us is appreciated. I looked at others on Amazon and picked this one bc of the apparent quality. I purchased 2 packs to use daily with my old doggie. He gets a couple breaks to “air out” and I don’t use over night unless we are traveling and at someone else’s house. They seem to fit well and stop the accidents. I highly recommend these. My little guy is 15 pounds and on the small side of the medium size range . I don’t use the extenders that came with the diapers. I maybe could have gone down to small with the extenders. Anyway, I am happy with this size choice. These belly bands are AMAZING! They fit absolutely perfect on my pup. I got a size small and he weighs 17 lbs. Amazing quality. I don’t worry at all that they won’t stay in place, falling off, or feeling uncomfortable. I tried the disposable ones and a cloth diaper one neither of those worked. The disposable are too flimsy and when he would lay on his back and roll around it would just pop off where it needed to be plus it made him look sickly. The diaper one is uncomfortable very hard to put on and take off. These ones are reusable so you can simply wash them and not have to keep buying more like the disposables. He’s a stray we found (awesome little dude), but he’s unfixed and he kept trying to mark in the house. Now if he tries to mark it stays in the belly band. If I catch him in the act I can stop him and simply take him outside without an actually mess in the house. And I don’t have to stress about if I’m not watching him at all times marking without me seeing and trying to find where the pee smell in coming from. I check the belly band every time to let him out to see if he tries to mark. (Hoping with time it becomes less) I’ve been using one per day with him and it is VERY absorbent. I just bought another pack so I have about a weeks worth just in case. Hoping one day to no longer need to use these, but until then fantastic product! I bought an extra small because my senior dog is 5/6 lbs. the Velcro is strong. They do have an absorbent center but I need to put a pantyliner to absorb which makes it a bit more snug. It did come with an extender, but it makes it too big for him.
