We previously tried two kinds of disposables, two kinds that are fabric lined with sanitary napkins. Our dog is an old rescue, probably German Shepherd, and his belly hangs down like udders. On the smaller wraps, they just slipped back to near his hind legs and his equipment was exposed. These hold firmly all around his fat belly and are magic, allow us to keep our old dog without wrecking the family sanity. I believe he has a cognitive issue and just doesn't know any longer when it is appropriate to pee, because he can go a full day without wetting. But when he DOES ... these are invaluable. Let me start out by saying I love these diapers. My elderly dog has recently become fairly incontinent of his bladder. These have been a lifesaver for my carpets. They are completely waterproof on the outside and hold a fairly large amount of urine so we can go all night without worry about accidents or urine seeping through the fabric if left too long. They are super easy to clean, just wash and dry in the wash machine. I will definitely be ordering more. My dog currently only wears them at night and after a month of use they have fallen off twice. Once the velcro stuck to a blanket he was laying on and I am pretty sure it pulled the diaper off of him, and the other time was very full and not sure how he shimmied out because the velcro was not undone but probably from the weight of it. My only gripe is that I bought a size large and he is in the upper limits of that size range (within 1 inch of max, I measured carefully before purchase) and it does not fit but luckily they come with an extender. Which is also fine but it only comes with 1 extender for 3 diapers. So if the extender gets dirty/wet and needs to be washed then we are unable to use the rest of the diapers until that piece is clean. I would say if your dog is within 2 inches of the upper limit to size up! there is plenty of room for the velcro to tighten but only so much stretch in that elastic. ... show more

My dog was diagnosed with the early stages of kidney disease and started urinating in the house. A friend of my girlfriend had gone through the same issue about a year earlier and loaned us these diapers. They worked FANTASTIC. We attempted to order some cheaper versions from Amazon and Chewy and they were no comparison. The other brands weren’t as absorbent and leaked through to the outside. I have a 40lb pit/heeler and these never leaked. Finally order 3 packs for myself so we could return the loaners. Don’t bother with any other brands, these work. ... show more

My dog is a marker. 15/16 lbs. I’ve used disposable belly bands but was hoping to save some money. I cut up some liners and put them in this band to help just absorb and not wash constantly. Works perfect! No leaking! Rinse them first- I do a load of wash daily, if not more, so washing is easy. Unfortunately when you wash these things too many times, they lose their waterproofing on the outside. This means our Great Dane leaks through when we have to leave him for more than 4 hours. I understand he's got a big bladder, but I bought the biggest size and I would appreciate it if they increased the durability of the Velcro band and the waterproofing. My boys back end has atrophied so I ordered at the very end of the size but the extender included made them fit perfectly. This brand has the most long lasting velcro and the most absorbent padding. The diapers I have washed daily for months hold up like the day I bought them. HINT. MY Dal should wear the XXL diapers to cover everything but the leg holes are too big with his skinny butt plus he didn't have urinary incontinence until just recently. This combo works great. I originally purchased Size Med for my 34lbs, 18.5 tall dogs that measured 16.5" around per product instructions. I found the product to be very tight and the extension awkward to use. My new rescue has severe separation anxiety, so these belly bands were suggested for his constant urination when I left him. I purchased them elsewhere, and they do hold quite a bit of urine. I would be careful, however, putting these in the dryer, because, even after just a short amount of time, they did shrink some. But wearing these belly bands helped me from cleaning up urine from my anxious dog. I hated to throw away the ones that shrunk, so when I saw that this 3 pack came with extenders that were not offered elsewhere, I jumped on it. Unfortunately, the description says extendRS, in plural, which is also stated on the box that they come in, but that is NOT the case. Notice the spelling. There is only one extender! Don’t be fooled and think this is a three pack of belly bands and three extenders. Falsely advertised, so it really wasn’t such a great deal. The product itself is nicely made and absorbent, but you can get the 3 pack on Chewy. This company should offer extenders by themselves and not be sly doing it like this. ... show more
